Rev. Wright epitomizes the thoughts and actions that have prevented and continue to prevent black America from moving ahead and achieving their potential as a people. He suggests that this United States of America made up of sons and daughters of immigrants (I'm talking of the millions of 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants in this country) of every race, creed, color and religion each and everyone of them who had nothing to do with slavery, somehow owe something to a group of people who have never been slaves? It's amazing. It seems everyone is to blame for the shambles black society is in with its violence, drugs, and high school dropout rates, misogyny, and a host of other real and virulent problems, except for the very people who engage in such behavior. Enough. As a society, culture or people, they should look within themselves and fix their problems. When did this man become the spokesman for the 'black church'? And of course his church is different. But that doesn't mean his message and philosophy is acceptable, or productive or non-offensive or not-racist or indicative or our greater cultural behaviors, values and norms as Americans. And yes, the link between this man and Obama really does matter. Why are we sending these people money? It's apparently very non-productive. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Myopic Black-Victim Theologians The Negro Victim Theologians are people who use the Victim Mentality to convince Blacks that their world would be a Utopia if only the White Man were exterminated. Jive Turkey, Jeremiah Wright and his successors have made this kind of brain washing their specialty. That Wright has been particularly successful at this is evidenced by his ability to acquire a $1.6 Million home in a Gated - White community. He says he hates the White Middle Class. I guess he must. He skipped it and went straight for a home among the wealthiest of Americans; that's the U.S..K.K.K.A, by the way... where he chose to buy. Yes, Negroes were at one time enslaved in the United States. Yes, that's a damned shame. It's awful in fact. I seem to remember though, that those people were freed from that bondage. I also seem to remember that it was Republicans who freed them over the vehement objections of the Democratic Party. Wow, what short memories the children of those slaves have! It also seems to me that when those people were enslaved, they were initially purchased from Black Slave Traders in Africa; people who actually went into the brush and captured their families and sold them to slave traders. Sounds like a Democrat to me - anything for power - anything for a buck. Today, Black people are still enslaved in Africa and certain Muslim Countries as well as most nations today. Slavery is a teriible thing, but blaming it on White Americans is short sighted - myopic. Slavery began when the first person was stronger than another. Even when title can no longer be held over a human being, slavery continues, propagated by misunderstanding the importance of education, by people like Jeremiah Wright who spoon feed weak minded people that they are victims, slaves still. There are no Black people. There are no White People. There are only - people. Once we realize that pigmentation is irrelevant, this racial victim mentality, a new form of enslavement, will vanish. When ministers once again preach their faith instead of political power agendas, religion will once again play the important role that it once did in the lives of human beings. Even people who have enslaved themselves by believing in the victim-mentality trash preached by money-mongering-ministers know it's "jive." ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Barack Obama is distancing himself from his home church of twenty years - finally. In college, the faternities used to have what they called "Smokers." It was a sort of party where frat-boy-wannabees attended in hopes of getting "rushed," or invited to join the fraternity. Smokers were fun. Everyone smoked cigarettes, cigars, pot, whatever. The booze generally flowed pretty freely and there would be babes from some of the local sororities there to encourage promising "frosh" (freshmen) to be interested in becoming Greeks (member of the frat). When the party was over and the promising frosh staggered back to his dorm room, he reeked of tobacco smoke. The smell clung to his clothes, to his hair, to his skin. Even when the offending stinking parts had been washed, the smell would linger in his room for a time because of its original strength. Smokers were a trip... Bar'Omi's smoker lasted longer; twenty years. The euphoric wasn't booze or tobacco or pot though. It was the heady message and fostered mind set of superiority, fertilized by victimhood, the self righteousness of being the unappreciated and victimized "chosen," wandering in a hostile world of the profane. Poor Barack and Michelle, his wife had come to the party, already high on that stuff . Imagine the swoons they achieved in the presence of a dynamic speaker like Jive Turkey, Jeremiah Wright when he told them, not only was their "high" genuine, it was divinely inspired. They had a mission before them, to irradicate the enemy; other human beings with different skin tones than theirs. Bar'Omi has realized, too late, maybe, that the smell will cling to him long past November 2008. The smell, so familiar and friendly to him, the smell he remembers from his Mother's apron, the smell of communism, Social Marxism, flavored with the racist spices of his Black Victimhood can't be made to disappear by the political expedience of dropping his name from the church's membership roles. It may be true that the public's memory is only fifteen minutes, but the public will be able to recognize his smell for many months. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This is a classic Chigger Prediction: Fuel prices are high for a lot of reasons. The dollar is weak and it takes more dollars at the weakened rate to pay the price overseas. We have high debt to China and other places. In our history, when we had high debt, to make it easier to pay, we weakened the dollar and paid the debt with cheap dollars. That's happening right now and it's one of the reasons we have high fuel prices. Demand has increased world wide for fossil fuels. China and India are both coming out of the dark ages. They have huge populations who are now driving automobiles. The supply of fuel has been limited artificially by a United States Government invested in making the president look bad. Congress has done everything they can to make prices go UP all the while blaming it on a president too inept to defend himself by telling the truth. Congress has blocked new drilling, retooling refineries, building new refineries. Congress, under the leadership of the famous traitor/socialist/bimbo Nancy Pelosi reclassified Canadian Oil Sands Oil saying it has too much carbon to burn in the United States. Kiss goodbye another 100 million barrels per day. Recent bill was defeated in Congress that would have closed existing refineries driving supply down and prices up even more. One would think Joe Lieberman would know better than to propose such stupidity in the face of our present high fuel prices. But then, I have to remember he used to be a Democrat. Here's the prediction. Right now, the pendulum is swinging near its zenith at the end of high oil prices resulting from mindless government meddling in the free market, reminiscent of FDR. Soon, public pressure will force these traitors to remove their impediments to drilling new wells and building new refineries. Many people, as I write this, are working diligently at developing better energy sources and energy technology. They are succeeding. These changes will begin taking place, probably after the election in November and not until then because Flim Flam Nancy will continue to propagate the myth that Mealy Mouthed Bush has a dial in front of him where he can turn prices up and down at will (to help his rich oil buddies). Yes it's going to get worse, but then it's going to get better, unless we elect the lunatic who thinks he can get oil prices down by increasing their cost (higher fuel taxes). I'm looking for a peak in the oil fiasco at about the same time I'm expecting a bottom to the housing fiasco. That will be the summer and fall of 2009. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Obama represented ACORN in Illinois. ACORN has been busted for voter fraud more than any other organization that I know of. In Mayor Daly's area, that comes as no surprise. Dead voters in Seattle is a bit different. At least I've never heard of dead voters in Seattle before. Chicago - yes. Hundreds more were found in Connecticut and, well, just about everywhere dead voters have been investigated. The real kink in the matter is that these dead voters actually show at the polls and vote. The local bureaucrats say there is no voter fraud there, of course. Those dead voters have the right to cast their ballot. Some have been found voting as much as seventeen years after their deaths, never missing an election. Seattle reported that many of their dead voters used absentee ballots. Malaysia has us beat soundly reporting that half a million of their ten million voters have been dead for many years. To verify the dead voters, government officials are going from village to village, knocking on doors and asking if any dead people in there are voters. They're trying to clean up their act, like they're doing in Seattle and Connecticut. But what about Chicago? Tom Paine(.com) reports numerous votes by dead people in New York in 2006. Many people spend much of their lives trying to beat the grim reapor. It looks like some in Washington, Connecticut and New York have succeeded, at least for voting purposes. A survey in Connecticut revealed that of the more than 4,500 dead voters who showed up at the polls, none of them were at home when called upon to validate their registration. Silly. They're not likely to be at home if they're dead. They just show up on election day. If you're dead, and you want to register to vote, there are numerous sites on the internet where you can do just that. It's very handy. No one is there to take your pulse or your temperature and if you've been dead for a while, your odor won't offend anybody. I know, sometimes Right Guard just isn't enough. Dead voters can make a difference, you know. It is estimated that Florida has around 500 dead voters in every election since, if they cast their ballot early and die before election day, they are actually dead voters. Now is that Kosher or not? It's not as bad as the 43,000 Florida voters in the 2000 election who voted for Gore twice, once in New England and once in Florida, but none of their Chads were pregnant or hanging, so the votes counted (and Gore STILL lost). (But the election was STILL stolen!) Connecticut wins the third prize this year, I'm afraid. With 169 communities having dead voters showing up at the polls, they must have some serious air freshener on the scene. The Chigger would like to know the brand. Ohio has Connecticut beat with thirteen thousand dead voters contributing to the Democrat cause there. South Dakota wins top prize. They have not only dead people, but cartoon and other fiction characters on their rolls. Who would have suspected South Dakota? Cowboy country afterall would be expected to have people with a little honor. Well maybe some of them have some honor. Just because a person is dead and votes doesn't mean he doesn't have any honor. Back in April, The Chigger was the first Internet news commentary to mention the Pelosi Treason accusation. Daily it has gathered momentum. Today (6/9/8) I did a search on Yahoo and got 2 million hits. How much interest does there have to be in this story before the Justice Department is going to take a look / investigate the allegations? Is it possible that the allegation that when Democrats sin, they can still go to heaven is true? Maybe not if "they ain't dead yet." Treason is defined as negotiating foreign policy with foreign powers without the authorization of the President of the United States. People I know of, off hand who have done that include Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Louise Slaughter, Tom Lantos (deceased) and numerous Hollywood Icons. Treason, I guess is okay if you're a Democrat, socialist, totalitarian communist or a Hollywood star. The United States used to refer to itself as "a nation of law,." but selective enforcement has become a way of life. Our laws no longer have any teeth. Illegal immigration is almost completely ignored by a president who is negotiating to eliminate our borders. The American Hippy no longer had an ideal to aspire to. The American communes still existed, even the free sex communes. But there was no longer a home for the heart, so to speak. No more was there a place on Earth where the government owned everything, jobs were assigned by the State, dissidence was punished with violence and confinement. Price controls, long lines at the grocery store and limited avialability of food and other commodities were just a warm memory. What a loss! Freedom was a hard choice. People were required to make their own decisions. Hard working people who worked smart were rewarded for their labor and their risk taking and not too surprisingly, excelled financially. How unfair that people who work hard get more money than people who don't work hard or smart. This is certainly a patent injustice that should be addressed by a benevolent, all knowing government, headed, of course, by those who believe the govenment should own and control everything. The followers of Roger Baldwin were at a loss. What to do? What to do? The need to find a new course to follow to bring down the United States , end private ownership of property and get Communism started here in the U.S.A. was at an impasse. But in the 1960's there was an overlapping of Soviet doctrine with the needs of the American Socialist Party, i.e. the Democrats, so when the USSR fell, it was possible to step in smoothly with a new cover-agenda. Someone had an epiphany. They realized that by using the concept of "endangered species," "air and water quality" and now the hoax of "global warming," they could get government control of LAND and prevent the actual owners of that land from using it in accordance with the rights of private property owners under U.S. law. Roger Baldwin's dream of ending private property ownership was being realized. The old communists had become environmentalists. Granted it was harder for them to spell, but even Nancy Pelosi has a dictionary and a staff to be ordered to use it. It achieved the same goals, the same ends, government control over privately owned land. The New Communists have been very successful in stopping the generation of wealth, and using private property to create it. That it is impossible because of environmental law to drill for oil in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico (although it's ok for China), off the coast of New Jersey, Colorado and a myriad of other places speaks directly of the success of Baldin's anti-American agenda. One thing I am still surprised about is that there is still no book titled "The Environmentalist Manifesto." Yes, it is necessary to treat our environment with responsibility, but not at the cost of driving humanity back to the dark ages of the Soviet Union. An article in the Wall Street Journal (June 5, 2008) doubts that Hillary would be suitable for the position of Vice President. Among the reasons it lists is " Bill Clinton may balk at releasing records of his business dealings and big donors to his presidential library." Bill managed to raise almost half a BILlION dollars for his library by granting pardons, apparently promising favoritism using his power as President. But recently in Brattleboro , they changed the law (Wall Street Journal 5/19/8). There is really no need for a law against nudity in Vermont. That's a bit like having a law against nudity in Alaska. I don't know if Alaska has one or not, but it's just too cold in Vermont to take one's clothes off outdoors, for very long, most of the time. His policy does not discriminate against homosexuals unless their personal lives could jeopardize National Security. Closeted Gays, for example, can be blackmailed. Sexual "misbehavior," of course is a statement about character. Religion Versus Morality versus Religion Morality is a concept adopted by civilized societies aimed at maintaining an orderly society. Morality does not mandate the acceptance, practice or adherence of a religion. Religions, on the other hand, generally mandate the acceptance of a style of morality advocated by the religion. Those styles vary widely and cannot be objectively lumped together under a single word like “morality.” Examples include the monogamy polygamy debate. Most, but not all Christian sects believe that “morality” includes monogamy. The “morality” of some religions includes limited polygamy as an admissible and desirable practice. The American Civil Liberties Union’s attack on the Boy Scouts saying that they are advocating a religion by their stance on morality is mistaken and fails to understand that “morality” belongs to orderly society, not to religion. The ACLU’s advocacy of its own style of morality (if it swells ride it), passes over their heads as well. Atheism is a faith based religion in every aspect, just as is Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Parseeism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism or Taoism. It affirms the non-existence of God on the same basis – faith – that the others use to affirm God’s existence. Atheism is no different than any other religion. It defines its own style of morality, the nature of the Supreme Being, salvation and life style. That the ACLU seeks to define the general belief in a Supreme Being as a religion is as laughable as their assertion that morality proves religious affiliation. (If belief in a Supreme Being is "religion," then so is pro-active disbelief.) That the Boy Scouts of America refuses to hire homosexuals as scout leaders is as sensible as it is for the Girl Scouts to refuse to hire nineteen year old boys to lead their luscious looking sixteen year old girls into the woods for days at a time. Sending people as counselors who are sexually attracted to their charges doesn’t make any sense. But the ACLU has made a huge issue over the morality (of an orderly society) claiming it’s religious based. Using the separation of church and state argument (The Boy Scouts is now a church, I guess.), they demand and with some success that the Scouts be denied access to schools, military bases and other public property. This 'Letter of Apology' was written by Lieutenant General Chuck Pitman, US Marine Corps, Retired: For good and ill, the Iraqi prisoner abuse mess will remain an issue. On the one hand, right thinking Americans will abhor the stupidity of the actions while on the other hand, political glee will take control and fashion this minor event into some modern day massacre. I humbly offer my opinion here: I am sorry that the last seven times we Americans took up arms and sacrificed the blood of our youth; it was in the defense of Muslims ( Bosnia , Kosovo, Gulf War 1, Kuwait , etc.) I am sorry that no such call for an apology upon the extremists came after 9/11. I am sorry that all of the murderers on 9/11 were Islamic Arabs. I am sorry that most Arabs and Muslims have to live in squalor under savage dictatorships. I am sorry that their leaders squander their wealth. I am sorry that their governments breed hate for the US in their religious schools, mosques, and government-controlled media. I am sorry that Yasser Arafat was kicked out of every Arab country and high-jacked the Palestinian 'cause.' I am sorry that no other Arab country will take in or offer more than a token amount of financial help to those same Palestinians. I am sorry that the U. S. A. has to step in and be the biggest financial supporter of poverty stricken Arabs while the insanely wealthy Arabs blame the USA for all their problems. I am sorry that our own left wing, our media, and our own brainwashed masses do not understand any of this (from the misleading vocal elements of our society like radical professors, CNN and the NY TIMES). I am sorry the United Nations scammed the poor people of Iraq out of the 'food for oil' money so they could get rich while the common folk suffered. I am sorry that some Arab governments pay the families of homicide bombers upon their death I am sorry that those same bombers are brainwashed thinking they will receive 72 virgins in 'paradise.' I am sorry that the homicide bombers think pregnant women, babies, children, the elderly and other noncombatant civilians are legitimate targets. I am sorry that our troops die to free more Arabs from the gang rape rooms and the filling of mass graves of dissidents of their own making. I am sorry that Muslim extremists have killed more Arabs than any other group. I am sorry that foreign trained terrorists are trying to seize control of Iraq and return it to a terrorist state. I am sorry we don't drop a few dozen Daisy cutters on Fallujah. I am sorry every time terrorists hide, they find a convenient 'Holy Site.' I am sorry they didn't apologize for driving a jet into the World Trade Center that collapsed and severely damaged Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church - one of our Holy Sites. I am sorry they didn't apologize for flight 93 and 175, the USS Cole, the embassy bombings, the murders and beheadings of Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl, etc....etc! I am sorry Michael Moore is American; he could feed a medium sized village in Africa . America will get past this latest absurdity. We will punish those responsible because that is what we do. I am sorry the Barack Hussein Obama may be elected president of the United States when he doesn't have a clue on how to be a strong Commander-in-chief in a world filled with Muslim extremists who will do whatever it needs to do to destroy the lives of civilized people while killing innocent men, women and children in order to bring a change that is beneficial to all Islamic terrorists worldwide. I am sorry that voters on the left don't understand the frightening changes that are taking place in the Muslim world and what these changes will do to this world in which we live. I am sorry that the Democratic Party has been high jacked by Socialists and Communists right under the very noses of those who take pride in calling themselves democrats. We hang out our dirty laundry for the entire world to see. We move on. That's one of the reasons we are hated so much. We don't hide this stuff like all those Arab countries that are now demanding an apology. Deep down inside, when most Americans saw this reported in the news, we were like - so what? We lost hundreds and made fun of a few prisoners. Sure, it was wrong, sure, it dramatically hurts our cause, but until captured we were trying to kill these same prisoners. Now we're supposed to wring our hands because a few were humiliated? Our compassion is tempered with the vivid memories of our own people killed, mutilated and burnt amongst a joyous crowd of celebrating Fallujahans. If you want an apology from this American, you're going to have a long wait! You have a better chance of finding those seventy-two virgins. With him were his two wives. They were wearing ankle length black berkas. Their heads were covered all the way to there faces. They were both carrying back packs and had at least one child by the hand. The sun was shining and the temperature was 94 degrees fahrenheit. That might not make a big impression unless you yourself have worn solid black clothing in the hot sun. I have. It's nasty. Women, under Shariah law are not LIKE slaves. The ARE slaves. They have no rights. Women under Shariah Law are not permitted to leave the house without their closest male relative as company. They are not permited to seek education, meaningful employment. They are not permitted to speak in public. Their husbands are encourged to beat them. If the woman has no male relatives who can accompany her for grocery shopping - and PAY for the groceries, she is expected to stay home and starve to death. When a woman is raped, since she has become soiled property, her own family executes her. That's a nice way to say "beats her to death." If they even READ about women's rights, they can be put to death. Why is it then that the white knight of civil rights - the American Civil Liberties Union supports the encroachment of Islam, i.e., Shariah Law in the United States. Where is NOW when they're needed? Judging from their web page, I have to conclude they're too busy looking at their beautiful bodies in the mirror, plugging transgender surgury and making it legal to murder their children. Maybe Shariah has some good ideas? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ SPP (again) With such a sweeping change taking place on the North American Continent, it's still a mystery why the mainstream media still avoids any mention of it in the news. If they had done their job, the Security Properity Partnership would be as common a household name as NAFTA, but it's still nearly a secret. There is no new news except for the new Mexican Territory in Kansas. Now they'll have to set up a perimeter there to guard against the smuggling of drugs, illegal aliens and what not. Just think, now criminals don't have to make it to Mexico to avoid prosecution. They only have to make to Kansas City. Afterall, some jobs, Americans just won't do. More border patrol flim-flammery. Hidden gates exist along the Mexican U.S. border that are well known to the United States Border Patrol. I suppose it may be hard to blame them considering border patrol agents who are actually in jail for doing their jobs. More border patrol officers were busted . This time it was in Vermont. They caught a smuggler with a pile of pot. They seized the pot and let the smuggler go free. Geez! How can they be blamed for that. Look what was done to the other two guys who actually captured the smuggler. They're both doing 11-12 years, for what? They actually stopped a drug smuggler who actually pleaded guilty to smuggling. Why have border patrol at all if this is how they are forced to do their jobs? That beings me back to the suggestion that for the presidential election this year, we write in the name Juan Sanchez for president. He's an illegal alien, but what they heck. Some jobs, Americans just won't do - like enforcing our border laws. It won't be long until we hear a speech from a new president about border enforcement law. After accusing the president of trampling on American Civil Liberties through the Patriot Act, it acquired 55,000 new members. It continues to promote anything it can to weaken the United States culturally, morally and intellectually. From pushing copies of the Ten Commandments out of the public eye to stealing Christmas, it works insidiously toward final anarchy with totalitarian government. The sheeple who support it climb on mindless agendas created by the pop culture of Hollywood demi-gods, maybe to feel they're part of the glitz but without thinking about what they are really supporting. What the demi-gods are supporting is nothing deeper than getting their names in the news by being controversial. To feel "IN," crowds join them in their self destruction. Activities of Islam and the ACLU reminds one of an age old concept called, "moral cloakism." This is the practise of hiding behind a cloak of moralism to accomplish or spread ideas. The ACLU uses it liberally, no pun intended. They attack our way of life by pretending to protect the innocent, the downtrodden, the poor, the minority, but they are very selective about the minorities they choose to protect. Times wrote about Muslims in Indonesia forcing Christians of all denominations to convert to Islam or get their throats slit. Thousands upon thousands of Christians were first converted and, according to rigid Islamic religious dictate, forced to undergo sexual mutilation of their foreskin or clitoris (with kitchen knives and razor blades) to make them conform to Muslim standards. Then they were are enslaved to their local Muslim chieftain. This was not some aberration of Islam but rather business as usual for all but the so-called "moderate" factions. This is Islam's sad legacy of murder, terror, lies and brainwashing to advance their cause of global conversion and subjugation... their so-called "personal struggle"... Jim Quinn always objects to minimum wages and particularly to increasing minimum wages. He says that when the wage is increased, it always results in a spike in unemployment. This is because small business owners, the primary employers of low wage earners have budgetary limits on what they can spend on pay to their employees. When the minimum wage is increased it means to the small employer that they cannot have as many employees. The new minimum requires that they exceed their employee budgets for the same number of employees so they have to reduce their staffs. Congress recently increased the minimum wage. The unemployment figures were just released and it was revealed that unemployment was up to 5.5% from 5.1 percent. Moreover, Jim said that the increase in unemployment would most affect teenagers and the poor. According to the new statistics, Jim was right again. Jim would make a good replacement for the (other) prophet. Think of it like this. Jim never robbed caravans or sold the victims into slavery. He never advocated beating or killing women for infidelity and he was never married to any children. "The" prophet's youngest wife at the time of their wedding was only nine years old. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Democrats fighting for Higher Fuel Prices Quinn's Law States "Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of it’s stated intent." There are no exceptions. Nancy Pelosi two years ago promised to get fuel prices down when gasoline was around $2.91. Now it's $4.00. To implement her plan of getting prices down, she and her fellow Democrats in Congress consistently blocked the construction and retooling of oil refineries. They blocked exploration for new deposits and drilling of new wells. China - yes CHINA is drilling fifty miles off our shores. But in the United States, we have to buy our oil from the other side of the world. The reclassification of Canadian Oil Sands Oil to "alternative fuel" containing too much carbon to burn here, reduced the supply of oil to the United States by more than a million barrels daily. It was no surpirse that fuel prices surged around $.18 that day. The Democrats have done everything they could possibly do to drive prices UP including raising and proposing higher taxes on fuel. The punitive "windfall profits tax" on oil companies, proposed by Obama, Clinton and others is a classic act of stupidity if the goal is bringing prices DOWN. Any fool knows that higher costs to the oil companies will simply be passed on to the consumer at the fuel pumps. Why the Democrats are following this course that is obviously driving up the price of fuel is a mystery to me. There has to be an agenda. No one, not even Nancy Pelosi is so stupid as to believe that reducing supply or increasing the cost of production will bring down prices. Here is a hypothesis. Nancy and her fellows in the Democratic House and the Democratic Senate must have an agenda other than the stated one, assuming they are not really as stupid as they appear to be. The only agenda I can see is that of intentionally driving fuel prices up so they can blame it on the impotent president we now have in office (the one who won't enforce border laws). It's a power play to make the Republican president look bad when he looks bad enough that he doesn't need any help (SPP). The Democratic Congress also has to hold in its heart the belief that the American people are too stupid to see through what they are doing. The first hypothesis believes the actions of Congress to drive up prices is aimed at discrediting the political opposition for the upcoming elections. If that's true, it isn't working very well because too many people can see through their efforts and talk about it on talk radio and write about it in publications like this one. The second hypothesis believes that the Democratic Congress has become so infiltrated with supporters of the agenda of the ACLU that they are deliberately trying to bring the United States to its knees. They are doing a good job of that. Everyone is hurting because of the high fuel prices. There is an election coming up. This is where American Culture Warriors enter the battle field. Vote. Throw the bums out, all of 'em. Don't vote for ANY incumbents, except of course in Nastychusetts where they only have one or two people who are so inept that they can't get jobs doing something productive. I'm talking about Ted Kennedy and John Kerry. California is another home of the stupid, especially in the San Francisco area. If you have ever gone to San Francisco, you may have noticed that a vast majority of the people who live there have their mouths hanging open all the time. That's because they are Nancy Pelosi supporters and they have their heads so far up their butts they have to keep their mouths open so they can see where they are going. The freedom of expression concept is a valid and good one, but limits to abuses are needed since there are people on our planet who want to and do abuse it. Child pornography is one of those situations. The ACLU, however has always supported child abuse. Withholding punishment for misbehavior is child abuse. But they have gone much farther than that, supporting legal positions that enable their own people to imbibe in child pornogrpahy. That these monstors are so often supported by the Democrats is no mystery. They appear to have a commonality in their agendas: "A Democrat community leader who would “offer a homily during worship services” and facilitated his congregation’s “opening our doors to all people regardless of sexual orientation” has been given a slap on the hand after pleading guilty to extensive child pornography offenses involving children as young as six." There has been a lot of "debunking" of these allegations evidently paid for the Aspartame makers and their public relations people. Aspartame appears in many diet drinks and those little pink packets that diabetics empty into their unsweetened ice tea. One diabetic I knew, with no family history of cancer, lymphoma or any related disease, died of lymphoma after years of ingesting up to five of those little pink packets in his three or four ice teas at every meal. Yeah he took too much of it. I believe it was the aspartame and I believe that the makers of that stuff know about that. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This morning, three aspiring toadstools reached for the sky in my back yard. They were three and four inches in height, but what wonders! They had clawed their way out of the ground, stood tall and hoped. “How high is the sky?” they asked as they reached beyond the surface that once imprisoned them. “Can we reach it?” They held their heads aloft not in total equality of size, but total equality of audacity. But when is hope not audacity? When is reaching for the sky not an innocent demand of potential? When is stretching for all one is worth not the very height of dignity, self worth and courage? They were young, only a few hours old. They were beautiful. They were so full of hope and courage. I took a picture. I'm glad I did.
When I came home from work, they were gone. I mourned them. Something ate them or the grounds maintenance personnel removed them. I don’t know why they are no longer reaching for the sky in my back yard. They are gone. A new one is there now, reaching for the sky just as its mates did only this morning. All this reminded me of the chorus of a song one of my best loved friends used to sing. (I deleted his name because if his name appears in The Chigger, his liberal weenie associates might hurt him… He lives in Fresno California.) “Now who’s gonna’ be the one Maybe they reached the sun and found how deadly such heights can be. Maybe their aspirations became overwhelming and they died of angst realizing the futility of their dream. Were they self-aware? Maybe? Were they aware of their accomplishment? Who can say they were not? Did they feel the futility of reaching for the sun? Do any of us? They were toadstools. Which among us is not their equal? I mourn their loss. They are gone. But there is another poking its head into the sky; a baby perhaps. In the morning when the sun rises, I think it will be two or three inches tall. That’s a good first step.
