Peace Industry Group - Norcross Georgia August 8, 2008 0930 EST With 95 miles per gallon instead of 24 that I get in my Buick Le Sabre, I'm spending about $4.00 per week to go to work instead of $60. Big difference. I bought the Bashan because of the price, but I'm glad I did. The other brand I was considering at twice the price claims its 150 cc model gets only 75 miles per gallon. There are disadvantages with riding a bike to work. Rain is a big one. For about $40, I bought a rubber rain suit that keeps me dry in the heaviest downpours. I also use a full face helmet. That keeps it out of my face and off of my glasses. People worry about keeping up with traffic on a small bike like that, but my Bashan does 65 miles per hour if I ask it to. I don't have to take on any interstate highways, so that isn't an issue. |

Congress - The New Forbidden City China's "Forbidden City" was the home of the Emperor. Imperial government in China became so powerful and so centralized that the government, i.e., the emperor fell out of touch. The needs of his people and the situation of the country and the world became irrelevant to the absolute power and overwhelming elitism of the head of government. The City was walled off from the rest of the world and the Emperor lived in a utopia of his own making oblivious to the realities outside the walls of his home. That there were trouble in the land didn't matter. It was such a distant chaos that he didn't even bother to make himself aware of it. He had his eunuchs and his women. Food was delivered by the outside world as though it were a matter of religion. Entrance and exit from The Forbidden City was at the whim of the Emperor. To get a job in the Forbidden City a man had to submit to castration - something like what it takes to achieve high ranking seats in The United States Government today (except, of course, for John Edwards and Bill Clinton). In time, the anger of the people of China rose to a pitch beyond what even the Emperor and his sacred government could ignore. The Forbidden City fell and is now no more than a quaint museum to the remembered glories of the past. Its 980 buildings and its vast grounds still echo with the angst of the Eunuchs and the ignorance of their rulers. The Congress of the United States is following the same course. Castration today takes the form of selling one's soul instead of one's gonads to join the good old boys' club of slaves to the special interest groups, but there really isn't a lot of difference. The isolation from reality is the same. Even George Bush Senior illustrates what I'm talking about here - when he admitted astonishment at learning of how credit cards are now read by machines at the grocery check outs. He didn't know about "swiping the card" through the reader. As our new Imperial City grows more callused and out of touch, the people grow more restive. Because of Congress's indolence, taxes have become even more oppressive than the taxes our forefathers fought England to escape. Regulation of private life and property has become even more oppressive than under George III, and Congress goes to recess, promising when they come back to make things even worse. Much rhetoric has been spent on the cost of fuel recently, the latest and hottest issue even surmounting the invasion from Mexico and the invasion of Islam. Congress needs a diversion strong enough to make us forget about conquests of the United States by Mexico, the ACLU and Islamic Terrorists. In the short term it's working. People are so aggravated with $4.00 gasoline, they seem to have forgotten momentarily that they'd be able to pay for it more easily if our labor forces hadn't been undermined with oversupply from the south, that our industry (good paying jobs) fled the country screaming in terror from the high taxes and regulation they have to endure if they stay in the United States. All this is taking place while Congress ignores the lack of integrity of its own leadership - Pelosi's treason, Clinton's and others' infidelity to their wives. --(How can a person be trusted who isn't even faithful to his own wife?) The corruption of The Democratic Congress is so common place that it's taken for granted. No one raises an eyebrow when $90,000 in cold cash is discovered in a high ranking Democrat's freezer or that so many of the former President Clinton's enemies disappeared or died under mysterious circumstances. The United States Congress is doing exactly the same thing the Chinese Emperors did. They are making the seat of government complacent and ignorant of the realities around them. They are sated with their Eunuchs, their sexual deviations and the power they THINK they have. That power is a fleeting thing. Government is always by consent of the governed and Congress is about to get the rug pulled - this November. If, though, enough of the voters still feed the Forbidden City to keep it viable, as though it were a matter of religion, they too will wake up in time. I hope that time comes soon enough that the major problems our power mongering, career politicians engender can be corrected with something as simple as a ballot box. |

The Return of the Robber Barons
I'm told that in Feudal Europe, the most a serf had to pay the Robber Barons was 24%. The church got 10%, oh and I almost forgot, the Right of the First Night went to the Lord of the Land. That entitled the Bill Clintons of yesteryear to sleep with any new bride he wanted, on the first night of her marriage, before her husband got the privilege. Today, the tariff is higher - world wide, but today they call it "income tax." They also call it, "sales tax." There are many words and expressions that describe the form of rape modern governments impose on today's serfs. Right to Work Tax, licensing fees for any independent labor a person might undertake. Real Estate taxes long ago removed any doubt that the governments own all the land. Private property ownership in the U.S.A. became a thing of the past back in 1913 with the alleged ratification of the 16th amendment. We now rent our land from the government. The ACLU's brand of Marxism won a major victory with the way that was snaked through Congress. Oh? It's tax, not rent? Just try not paying your annual rent and see what happens to your private property rights. Not only do we not have the right to HOLD our land, we also have our rights as to what we can do with that land severely impinged. Governments dignify this impingement with sophisticated legalese like taxation, escheat, police power and eminent domain. What ever it's called, it's still a seizing of private property rights. The infringement goes on and on. A person can get fined today for such a trivial offense as allowing his or her dog to bark at a racoon in the middle of the night (thank goodness for that). Of the rights stolen from us by our beneficent government in the U.S.A. none is more offensive than denying an owner the right to extract minerals, water and other valuables from his or her own land. Nancy Pelosi is pushing the envelope with her blatant manipulation of the House of Representatives. Her dogged refusal to allow discussion or a vote on anything that will affect the price of fuel, immigration, or other matters that might not go her way flies in the face of the very spirit of Democracy. Some say that the Democrats want to keep oil prices rising so that it will drive the voter back into the cities where they can be more easily controlled and where it will increase the tax base for the cities. This will give most of the land to the control of the federal government in accordance with the goals and priorities of the communist/marxist/Democratic Party Union. The Robber Barons aren't dead, folks. They've gone to California. Some are in Nastychussetts. Many of them are now in the United States Congress. Please make sure your voter registration is current. Don't forget to vote. Kick these bums out of Washington D.C. Send them back to the utopia they believed the U.S.S.R. to be - in Never Ever Land. |

While it seems to me a cheap shot to question Obama's birth-qualifications to be President of the United States, there has been a lot of smoke appearing around this question. Politifact has gone to a lot of trouble to verify the birth certificate and they believe it's the real thing, allowing for a margin of error. World Net Daily raises interesting questions about this as do many others. Some are even saying that he is not even legitimate because his father was still married to a previous wife at the time of his wedding to the Obamamamma. One thing fueling the speculation about Obama's birth is his refusal to release his birth certificate for scrutiny. If there is nothing to hide, why refuse to allow anyone to see it? Dave makes a good point when he says if there was something incriminating about Obama's birth certificate, Hillary would have found it by now. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Something that has consistently confused me about the intelligence of the American voter is this. In every election in my lifetime, the enemies of the United States have endorsed a candidate for president. Why they do this mystifies me, but the real enigma is why nearly half the voters of the United States always vote for the guys the bad guys want elected. When John Kerry was running, Sadam Hussein made it no secret that he wanted Kerry elected. Chavez backed him. Fidel Castro said Kerry was the man for the job. Even Osama Bin Laden came out of his closet long enough to place his seal of approval on John Kerry. In spite of all this extremely negative press, Kerry nearly got elected. Now we have another situation of the same kind. B. Hussein Obama is parading through Europe and the middle east stirring up support from the infidel and getting all those same endorsements. That guy (Ach-my-hair-is-bad?) from Iran whose name no one can spell has endorsed him. Chavez says Obama's the best man for the job - whose job? - Is it that of supporting Chavez's totalitarian tea party? The ACLU wants Obama. Al Qaeda-in-Iraq’s leader, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, had this to say, "The victory day has come faster than we expected." Hugo Chavez issued a four-hour speech waxing on about his comrades, the Democrats. “We haven’t had enough of your blood yet,” Al Muhajir stated. He then added (in the spirit of bipartisanship), "We will not rest from our Jihad until we … have blown up the filthiest house, which is called the White House." Hey, the Democrats now have a campaign slogan for 2008. The Democratic Party, known world wide as the "retreat and apologize party" has a backing of the world's winners again, but the following for the Muslim Messiah hasn't abated, much. Maureen Dowd declared the election represented the end of manhood in America, which she views as a good thing. Finally, there's room at the urinal for Comrade Maureen! At least we now know why Maureen's hair is brown.

The rationalization for this is, if the baby survives the partial birth abortion, it is still legal to kill it. Most physicians I've known, I have believed to be good and moral men (and women). I have known a few doctors, however who may have been willing to carry out such a task. It isn't murder, after all, if it's legal - right? Let's carry this a step further. Let's say that a mother doesn't decide to have an abortion until the child is eighteen years old. Is it still legal to kill it? What if the child is sixteen years old and becomes pregnant, and then that expectant mother's mother decides to have a Post Natal Abortion. Since the fetus is still unborn, it wouldn't be such a crime to make it still born, would it, that is, by post natal abortion of the mother of the fetus. San Francisco, where women are women and so are the men, has chosen another screwball to represent them in the Forbidden City . Overall, it would appear that Cindy would be better in that job than Nancy Pelosi. She hasn't had the time to accrue the corrupt power base that Nancy has. She isn't as complacent in her wealth and hasn't had the time to refine the horrendous hypocrisy of the Pelosi family. Further, in her own misguided way, I think Cindy Sheehan is not a Marxist Socialist like Nancy. She's just stupid. But that seems to be par for Shakey Town (Californicatia). On the other hand, maybe Cindy will run against Dianne Feinstein. We Aren't really sure which one will be her nemesis. The latest one, though is the Tweaker of the House. She's the one (Pelosi) who is single handedly controlling what the House of Representatives debates or votes for. That is to say, Nancy, the Labor Union lover who refuses to hire union labor, is the current robber baron who is governing instead of Congress. I don't think Cindy Sheehan is quite as vile as Nancy. She wants to lay down for Islam but she doesn't understand that if she does that she will soon be wearing a black tent. Enough others in Congress do understand that so I don't think Cindy can do as much harm in Congress as Nancy Pelosi has done. Best wishes to Cindy. If San Francisco has to send another air-head to congress, at least this one won't be as malevolent. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Putin Succumbs to the Corrupting Quality of POWER When Putin was elected President of Russia, we thought he was a pretty good guy for the job. He took his place among world leaders and worked for the economic freedom of his country. Russia became a pretty good place to live. The American people were pleased to have a friend in the East after the many years of the cold war, mutual distrust and fear of one another. We were looking forward to living together in peace. Unfortunately for Putin, the heady liquor of power overcame his idealism and his integrity. He has developed a taste for it. Power is a dangerous drink. Each one wants another until the victim is so inebriated with his own importance that the welfare of those he rules is no longer a matter to be considered. Power always corrupts. Like with Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, John Murtha, power in itself becomes the only end. Nothing is too evil to do if it supports continuing that flow of the addictive liquor - power. A lie is a simple thing. Treason, if one is a Democrat isn't even beyond the acceptable. Putin, though, is now above any law, reason and common sense. He is no longer president of Russia. He is now Emperor, evidently believing he has the Divine Right to murder, steal, invade the domains of others at whimsy. I mourn the loss of the goodness I once believed he had. I mourn the loss of the friendship I thought Russia now represented to the world and the common cause of the world's nations to live in peace as one human family. Time was right in 2007 with its article "A Tsar is Born." Power always corrupts. If for that reason and no other, The United States NEEDS to impose term limits on its rulers in the Forbidden City. The path Vladimir Putin has chosen for his country will lead to many deaths, the suffering of many people and ultimately the destruction of his country. People of faith, everywhere should pray that Vladimir Putin be able to find the soul that he has lost and that he find the strength to overcome this weakness that led to his fall from wisdom. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Chigger reported on this article in issue #9. I checked the FOX web site just now and found no mention of the Yellow Cake Uranium that arrived in Canada, July 5, 2008 from the Iraq nuclear facility. Generally speaking, I have found FOX to be the most objective in its reporting. Unlike the others who have such a Marxist agenda of making anything conservative anathema to public knowledge, FOX usually takes the bull by the horns, so to speak. But not this time. The question arises, WHY? This is a mind blowing revelation. Why has it been ignored? His honest statement was an agenda statement for his organization, “I am for socialism, disarmament, and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal." The ACLU has systematically and single mindedly worked for the dismantling of Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of education and every other freedom that has made the United States the economic force and desirable place to live that it is today. It has achieved great success through bamboozlement, pushing the envelope of freedom beyond the borders that were intended by its framers. It succeeds by using one of the greatest documents every conceived by a human mind, the Constitution of the United States as a weapon against it. Through its delusionment of otherwise sensible people it has accrued enough money that it successfully oppresses communities like Hazelton Pennsylvania when it tries to create and enforce sensible laws. It supports child pornography and the murder of infants but the protection of murderers. It is the most heinous organization ever created and it is an enemy of Western Freedoms as we know them. It is a melanoma on the face of the Statue of Liberty and it must be expunged if freedom is to continue to ring.
