Lt. Bill Barfedover had a hangdog look about him when he came home that afternoon. His wife, Paula could see that he had been under more stress than ever before. “What happened today, Honey?” she asked. I made an appointment with Lawyer Rick to update my will.” “You could refuse to fly it, you know,” Paula answered with a defiant edge to her voice with anger crowding out the sound of her fear. “All three of the other proto-types exploded in mid air.” “That’s right Babe. The explosions were so violent that they couldn’t even find bits of flesh at the crash sites. I heard today that there’s a mysterious illness, too, that pops up in about a ten mile radius of the explosions. It’s a lung disease of some kind.” “I heard about that too,” Paula answered. “Do they think it’s because of what ever materials they’re using in this new propulsion system?” “What ‘they’ think is unknown. It’s been hushed up. It also never made it to national news that the tests have all been failures.” “Why do they keep trying it if it doesn’t work and it always kills people?” “I think they have so much money tied up in this idea that they’re afraid to admit it’s been a waste of time, money and blood. The ideology behind it is so mired in that if the brass tried to change its mind, some of their heads might explode. They always call Osteoporosis the silent disease. There are no outward symptoms till the victims' bones start cracking and breaking for no known reason. A little investigation then reveals - "ah yes. Here it is. Osteoporosis." Like NAFTA, the much hyped invasion of the southern nations on the Florida orange growers, the California Avacado growers, and all others who produce produce. "It will be such a wonderful benefit," Clinton told us. Why worry about free trade. It can only improve our economy. What a bunch of crap! Canada tells me I can import anything there that I can sell, except potatoes and blue berries. Canada grows potatoes and blue berries so we can't export those things to Canada. That sounds all fair and good to me, but what out our oranges. Mexico can send oranges to the United States. That the Unites produces oranges doesn't seem to matter. The free trade and open border concept is not equal. It's appears to be another leftwing lie to me. It benefits Mexico and Canada, but it does not benefit the Uniteds States. It opens the door to all manner of evils. Most so-called American automobiles are now assembled in Mexico. Even Volkswagons are assembled there. I know the arguments, free trade, market forces, fair competition. Bosh. Things are getting so bad here, even the illegal aliens are fleeing back to Mexico. That is where the jobs are, now. With the lies and misrepresentation associated with all the other so called Free Trade Agreements, why should the United States citizenry not be skeptical of yet another one, an even far more reaching one. The Security Prosperity Partnership is being Hyped Big time by Washington DC and ignored by the media. It's a silent disease, like Osteoprosis. This is an issue that has to be addressed by incoming presidential hopefuls. But they seem to be ignoring it too. American better get out its Fosomax. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ So, what do we do when we want to cripple a foreign nation who isn't doing what we want them to do? Or, they are doing something we don't want them to do, like Venezuela building Iranian nuclear missle bases? Usually, the first thing we do after expressing our opinion about the unwanted activity is to impose an embargo of some sort - to cripple the country's economy. This brings about pressure from the populace about correcting the ineptitude of those in power to end the embargo. This was done with Iraq before the invasion, in the form of U.N. sanctions. But low and behold, we discovered that the European nations were dealing with Iraq behind everyone's back, violating the sanctions they themselves were parties to. The U.N. embargo didn't work. When Cuba was allowing the USSR to build missile facilities in Cuba ostensibly to attack the United States, we set up an embargo that is still partly in force. The question that arises out of this is, "Why is the United States Congress enforcing an Oil Embargo against its own people?" Under the devious leadership of Nancy Pelosi, every step possible has been taken to prevent debate or action to end that oil embargo. Taking congress to recess before a vote or debate could take place was not accidental. This brings to mind Jack Nicholson's comment about women in the move, "Witches of Eastwick." Is this another mistake or did [she] do it to us on purpose?" Is it possible that Nancy could be this stupid? Considering other things she has done in her reign as the House Tweaker, it occurs to me that she just might be, but I doubt it. I think Nancy Pelosi has sinister motives associated with bringing the American economy to it knees so she can blame it on the Bush administration. Lately she has been paying lip service to the idea of drilling off shore and ending the Congressional Oil Embargo, but those who know her fear she will add deal killing provisions to the bill allowing this to happen. She would do this so she could blame the Republicans for maintaining the Congressional Oil Embargo. I think Nancy would be less dangerous if she stuck to helping Salmon Fishermen. I guess the fishermen in Alaska needed that extra $100,000 each to pay the fuel prices Nancy has inflated with her Congressional Oil Embargo. |
The people of the so called religion of peace , are, for the most part, just like other people, everywhere. They love their children and the spouses and families. They work to improve the lives of their families and to give their children the opportunities to advance in the world. They place great importance on education. They fear people who are different than they are, just like all people have that tendency. A different religion is a threatening idea. Because Jews seemed different to middle ages Christians, they were accused of all manner of evils that were untrue, just as today, Muslims are falsely accused. BUT (and must there always be BUTTS (like Nancy Pelosi)), there is a faction of Islam that is ruining it for their kindred. They are poisoning the minds of the world to believe that all of Islam is dangerous, threatening, imperialistic and villainously sick. All of Islam should be outraged by the pictures below, if indeed Islam is a "religion of peace."
Let there be peace on Earth. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ What an interesting situation the United States has gotten itself into. A presidential election is coming in a few months. The whole scenario reminds me of a statement I once read. I'm not sure of the source. I think it was Albert Pike who said that public office is always sought by the worst sort of individual for that type of role. The motivation is always selfishness, driven by the personal desire for power. Never has this been more true. Barack Obama is the most frightening part of the current debacle. Here is a man who has overtly and devoutly has rejected everything America stands for. Yet he has the support of nearly half the country, and most of the world. His proposed programs are the most destructive I have ever heard coming from the mouth of a presidential hopeful. The list is beyond the scope of this commentary, but to list a few of the most egregious, let's start with killing babies. I have always believed that a woman should have the right to end a pregnancy, but objected to paying for it with public funds. That is to say, I don't want my money used to kill fetuses because I am against killing fetuses, but I don't want to impose my beliefs on others. If some ignorant fool wants to kill her babies - let her get her genes out of the gene pool. Obama, on the other hand, wants to make it legal to kill babies AFTER they're born. I know this is a matter of line drawing, and that his drawing the line further into our instinct to preserve and protect children offends me. It nevertheless offends me. He wants to raise taxes, he says, to pay for government programs of curing poverty, improving education, providing universal health care. This list is endless. Everyone in this century who can and does read beyond a third grade level knows that increasing taxes reduces revenue to the government because it impedes the economy that supplies the taxes. Even Obama would have to admit that ten percent of a lot is more than fifty percent of nothing. Yet he wants to screw the shaky economy with the impediment of higher taxes. This raises the question, does he want more money for the government or does he simply want to screw us? His talk of disarming the citizenry is a good clue. Removing the last check and balance frees him to impose even worse tyranny than our tax laws now impose. He knows that the American people are willing to take only so much before they will object vehemently. Tyranny always fears the citizenry. Obama fears an educated and armed citizenry. Mr. Obama claims patriotism. In my opinion he as an abject liar. The allegations I have made above are part of why I think this. The bit of evidence that has absolutely convinced me that he is a Manchurian Candidate for Socialism is the picture below.

The Congress of the United States has broken another record. It's funny how Nancy Pelosi rants about the President's low approval rating when her congress has a record breaking low approval rating of its own. It's less than half of the president's rating. With an overwhelming majority of Democrats in the U.S.Congress, they have managed to drive gasoline prices through the roof and with straight faces, blame it on George W. Bush. The "Vote for Change" has really screwed the country. They allowed encouraged the onslaught of the housing crises. They have maintaiined an oil embargo on their own country. They have permitted our borders to be invaded by hoards from the south and more from the East. They have allowed the undermining of the American Education system - it's easier to rule dummies. The have supported the exploding cost of health care. They are either idiots or monstors and we need to REMOVE them as quickly as possible. Make sure you are registered to vote and help kick their butts out of Washington, D.C. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ So far, The Chigger has signed on to two affiliate programs. These are businesses who connect those who wish to advertise with those who wish to be advertised. If The Chigger is the source of a sale, we are paid a small commission. The first one we signed up for was Commission Junction. We found this to be easy to use, after a great deal of hassle learning to use it. We've been running ads for Commission Junction since April. The ads are fixed. That is to say they don't change unless we change them. April through August 2008, we have earned 90 cents. Not worth the effort; yet. The second service we signed up with is Google Ad Sense. They were a bit more of a hassle to use than Commission Junction, but thanks to CJ, we only had to learn a little more. These ads change every few minutes. The unhandy side of the programming is that to change or manipulate the size of the ad we have to go directly to the page's source code. None of us here are HTML programmers, so this is very inconvenient. We have found two huge drawbacks to Google's program. First and foremost is the fact that they post advertisements that are directly in opposition to the positions taken by this page. Case in point are advertisements to vote for that jackass, Barack Obama. We made lemonade out of that lemon and had fun with it, but despite communications with Google, those ads are still there. The second huge drawback is the fact that they are only online less than half the time. The rest of the time there is a notice that the page cannot be displayed, or worse yet, the advertisement is collapsed and invisible during our peak hours. We think this sucks, but we're going to be patient about it for a few more days to see what comes out in the wash. If they can't get it together, we'll eliminate them from The Chigger. One point in favor of Google Ad Sense is the fact that in the first few days, we registered commissions of $1.58. That's sure better than $.90 but both commissions are so small that they are meaningless. The Chigger is averaging about 12,000 hits per month with some months as high as 20,000. Of course we can't report on this month's stats because Smarter Stats, supported by our host company has been offline for more than two weeks. It seems to be hard to find reliable labor these days. There are several other affiliate programs we're considering. When we find one or more that are working out, we'll report on them here and deep-six the ones that don't work. Since site statistics are unavailable due to labor distribution priorities, we are also considering looking for a new host. As you can see at the top of this page, there is an apology for posting Google Ad Sense Ads here on The Chigger. They violated our trust to post "appropriate" ads by posting "Vote for Obama" literature then by posting attack ads against the NRA. Anyone who is even vaguely acquainted with The Chigger knows we've called Barack Obama just about everything imaginable and every issue has an invitation to Join the NRA - Ignore your rightrs and they will go away. The NRA is the only organization I know of who is actively doing anythng to actually protect ANY of my constitutional rights. They have done and are doing a stupendous job in the face of enormous adversity. They have my full support and deserve yours. Jim Quinn always says Liberal programs always result in the exact opposite of their stated intent. Jim is right. The Fairness Doctrine, much touted by liberal Democrats provides that talk radio must provide equal coverage. If a conservative host talks, a liberal host must talk for an equal period of time. If this passes, there will be no more conservative talk radio. That’s the whole point of the bill. There is more Conservative Talk Radio than Liberal Talk Radio for one reason and one reason only. Conservative Talk Radio sells. It attracts listeners. That sells advertising. Liberal talk radio is usually ridiculous (I’ve listened to Al Franken and others…) and does not attract listeners. It therefore does not sell advertising. If the Fairness Doctrine is adopted, there will be no talk radio because no one is willing to PAY for Liberal Talk Radio. The Fairness Doctrine will successfully silence talk radio. That’s fair? It is even MORE interference with the free market. Anti-Fire-Arms Legislation aimed at making private ownership of firearms illegal is absurd. Law abiding people will turn in their weapons, at least some of them will. If the effort is successful, only criminals will be armed. As in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other places, where firearms have been confiscated, violent crime escalated over 300%. The cities in the United States that have the toughest fire arms regulations also have the highest rates of violent crime. The cities that have the most relaxed firearm regulation have the lowest rates of violent crimes. This is simple arithmetic. Yet the Liberals want to collect the firearms and make the United States Citizen defenseless against crime, wild animals and tyrannical government. The reason they offer is pathetic – it is reduction of violent crime. The real reason is that the fear an armed populace. This is a classic example of Quinn’s law enacted. Liberal programs always result in the exact opposite of the intended purpose. The founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms as a last check and balance against tyranny. They knew that the worst sort of people for the job are attracted to roles of power. It has always been this way. Obama is an extreme example of that fact. The examples above are a tiny sampling of the treachery of the Democratic United Congress. EVERY liberal program is as deceptive. Pelosi Comments on Murtha's Reputation That Nancy can make positive and flattering comments about John Murtha's reputation is amusing. It makes me think that her benchmark for "good" as pertains to "reputations" is so distorted by her own reputation and track record that she thinks a sleazeball record like John Murtha's is good. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Who thought that it would come to pass that we needed to legally limit the length of a legislator's term in office? What a job it is too! Imagine tryhing to get people to voluntarily make it illegal for them to continue their jobs! Yet, it has to be done. It's happening in, of all places, California. Proposition 93, sponsored by Assembly Speaker, Fabian Nunez would extend term limits and make it possible for him to run for re-election. The people of California in an unprecedented demonstration of wisdom, defeated the proposition. In Nevada , legislators whose time has come, are organizing to attack the 1996 vote of the people by splitting the definition of term limits into two questions - term limits for legislators and term limits for judges. They're still trying to stay in office to maintain their POWER. In South Dakota, SJR 1, a bill aimed at repealing South Dakotas term limits laws passed the legislature before adjournment. Question J will now appear on South Dakota's ballot in November, asking citizen's if they wish to repeal the South Dakota Term Limits law. Polls indicate thie bill will fail. Since the organization of USTL, 17 state legislatures and eight of the nations tenlargest cities have adopted term limits. They want what we all need, citizen legislators, not career politicians!! It blows my mind that the ACLU is still a functioning subversive organization. Apparently, to them, an organization devoted to encouraging pedophilia and legalizing sex between children and adults is entitled to free legal defense." Only in Nastychussetts, but that's a shoe horn into the door of that issue. Remember, one of the first tenets of the Communist Manifesto is the destruction of the morality of the culture to be destroyed. And remember, the stated goal of the ACLU is the destruction of the United States of America using its own constitution against it. The American Civil Liberties Union, A.K.A. the ACLU is listed as a subversive orgainization by Homeland Security for good reasons. Their efforts to destroy American Culture have been very successful. The media has certainly gone into a frenzy trying to find ways to smear her. She must be a real monstor. Let's see. Her husband drank too much once, 22 years ago. Horrendous! Lots and lots of Email... Dear RedBug... How do you attract 200,000 Germans to an American presidential candidate's campaign rally in Berlin? coming out for a short speech between the bands? why the crowds were really there. 95% of them could care less about Obama or American politics. They came to see a free concert with the German equivalents of Willy Nelson and Madonna headlining. Obama was an unwelcome and boring interruption giving a political speech in a foreign language between the acts which is why the crowd only gave lame applause a couple of times - after all, how many of them spoke English or cared less? Obama didn't care about the crowd either. His speech was really for the American media and the crowd was a backdrop for the photo ops. that really drew the crowds. But with all the recesses, four day weekends, campaigning and absences, Obama has only spent about 6 weeks of workdays on the Senate floor as one of the most junior Senators. Most of his votes, about 80% when he was not absent, have been 'present' or 'abstain'. He also chairs a committee that has never met because the chairman has never called a meeting. As a trial lawyer he only tried 14 cases in court - and minor ones at that. years of trying the asbestos was still there when he left and is still there even now that he is a Senator and presumably has some pull to get things done. years as a lawyer and only 14 minor trials. And two years as a 'community organizer' with nothing accomplished. |

WASHINGTON – A Democratic senator on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee inadvertently explained why her colleagues have no intention of ending the moratorium on offshore oil drilling or increasing the areas open for exploration and production – no matter how popular the idea might be with gas prices soaring. In an interview with Bloomberg TV's "Money and Politics" last night, Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., explained Democrats don't want to increase supplies of oil and gasoline because they want to wean Americans off of petroleum products. Asked point-blank if Democrats in the Senate would consider how increasing the supply of oil would lower the prices that are pinching U.S. consumers, Cantwell replied: "Oh, we definitely want to move beyond petroleum. And so there will be a supply side offered by the Democrats and it will include everything from battery technology to making sure that we have good home domestic supply, and looking, as I said about moving faster on those kind of things like wind and solar that can help us with our high cost of natural gas." In other words, no. The point was underlined by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, who said Democrats are not even permitting debate on legislation and amendments designed to increase the supply of oil and gasoline to U.S. consumers. "Today, the appropriations markup that was going to include amendments that would open up the outer continental shelf and maybe even shale in Colorado and Utah was canceled," she told the same Bloomberg interviewer. "It wasn't postponed, it was canceled. So that indicates to me that the majority is not going to try to have an open debate, but I hope I'm wrong. If they have an open debate, and we're allowed to have amendments, and we have a balanced plan that includes production in all the sectors, then I believe we can meet this problem in a bipartisan way, and that's what we should be doing for America." Joseph Farah is spearheading a grassroots battle to flood Congress – and particularly the Democratic leadership – with e-mails, phone calls, letters and text messages demanding action that can lead the country in the direction of energy independence. "Right now, that means lifting the moratorium," he says. "That's the first step. If we can't agree on that as Americans today, then we are in for a long period of national economic decline. If we can't push Congress to do the right thing with even a strong majority of Democrats behind us, then this country is simply no longer a place where the will of the people means anything." Farah's goal is to force Congress to act in the next two months – before it adjourns for the year. "There's an election coming up one month after that adjournment date and even the most entrenched incumbents know how sensitive this issue is," says Farah. "Now is the time to let them hear you." Farah's plan is simple: "I want to bring Congress to its knees," he says. "I want to melt down their phones. I want to flood their e-mail boxes. I want to hold them as political hostages. The ransom demand is to unleash the free market to begin exploring and pumping domestic crude oil and getting it to market as fast as possible. We've got two months to make our voices heard. Let's make history by bringing this recalcitrant body of elitists into compliance with the will of the people and the rule of law." After eagerly waiting for someone else to take the lead on demanding action of Congress, Farah came to the conclusion no one else was going to do it. "We're running out of time," Farah says. "If we let these rascals, these scoundrels, leave town before they lift all their ridiculous bans and restrictions on drilling for domestic oil, this country is headed for a major recession. Even worse, we'll head into a new year and a new presidency with the Washington elite thinking they put one over on us again." Farah says the only thing that can prevent the disaster of gasoline prices of $6, $7, even $8 a gallon in the near future is a general uprising of the American people. Besides the call to action, Farah is also devoting the current issue of Whistleblower magazine, the monthly print complement to WND, to the critical topic of "the energy independence revolution." "It's time to stop business as usual," he says. "Every day, you need to make some phone calls, you need to write some emails, you need to use Skype and text messages and even send some letters through the Post Office. This grass-roots movement has to build steadily for the next two months. We cannot allow Congress to adjourn without lifting the ban on drilling in ANWR, offshore and on public lands under which we know there are vast reserves of oil." Farah says it's a national emergency and needs to be treated as such. "I hope radio talk show hosts across the country will embrace this bipartisan, non-partisan movement," he says. "There is no question in my mind this is what the American people want. Now it's just time for them to impose their will on their elected representatives who, in their chauffeured limousines and taxpayer-supported travel, are hopelessly out of touch with their constituents, with people who are finding it difficult to make ends meet." Farah says he is convinced Congress will act only if the people steamroll members into action. He points to the way the Dubai port deal and so-called "comprehensive immigration reform" were killed by popular uprisings in recent years. "We can make this happen, again," he says. "But this time, we won't just be stopping something bad from happening. We will be doing something that is very good for the country – something that will improve the lives of all of us, something that will improve national security, something vital for the future of the nation." Congress is set to adjourn in late September. "I'm going to do everything in my power to push Congress into action in the next two months," Farah says. "I know I can't do it by myself. But I know if the American people get mobilized nothing can stop them. You have to let members of Congress know you are serious. You have to persuade them and their staffs they are not returning to Washington next year if they fail to act in America's interest before they leave town." Mr. Obama has been photographed (if I could get it, it would be here too.) standing proudly on the American Flag. He consistently refuses to salute the flag, recite the pledge of allegiance, put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. While these foibles may seem trivial, they signify his attitudes and beliefs. His regular attendance and membership in a church where The United States is roundly damned and his acquiescence to this pastoral tutorship is accepted by the left. It fills me with fear that such a man could be chosen to be given such power over the free world and especially over ME! My family fought in every war this country ever had all the way back to the American Revolution. They gave blood for freedom, freedom that Barack Hussein Obama holds in contempt.
