Latest Scandal Hard line supporter Mark Penn is either fired or resigned recently.
He was the chief strategist for Hillary's presidential campaign. He had been her head man since
shortly after Gore fired him. It was recently discovered that Penn had been working with the
Colombian Government to help win congressional approval of a trade pact that Hillary - says - she
apposes. Penn says he was working with the Colombian Government through his public
relations firm. Penn claimed his work with Colombia was an error in judgment. Colombia didn't like that very much. Colombia has canceled its six figure contract saying his comments were
disrespectful. So. Does Hillary really favor the
trade pact and encouraged Penn to help them with it while she was openly against it to promote her
campaign or did Penn really go behind her back? It's hard to tell when Miss Speak is really sincere
.

It's an amazing time to be alive in America. We're in a
year of firsts in this presidential election: the first viable woman
candidate; the first viable African-American candidate; and, a candidate
who is the first front running freedom fighter over
70. The next
president of America will be a first.
We won't truly be in an election of firsts, however,
until we judge every candidate by where they stand. We won't arrive
where we should be until we no longer talk about skin color or gender.
Now that Barack Obama steps to the front of the Democratic field, we need to stop talking about his race,and start talking about his policies and his politics.
The reality is this: Though the Democrats will not have
a nominee until August,unless Hillary Clinton drops out, Mr. Obama is
now the
frontrunner,and its time America takes a closer and deeper look
at him.
Some pundits are calling him the next John F. Kennedy. He's not. He's the next George
McGovern. And it's time people learned
the facts.
Because the truth is that Mr. Obama is the single
most
liberal senator in the entire U.S. Senate. He is more liberal than Ted
Kennedy, Bernie
Sanders, or Mrs. Clinton. Never in my life have I
seen a presidential frontrunner whose rhetoric is so far removed from
his record. Walter Mondale promised to raise our taxes, and he lost.
George
McGovern promised military weakness,and he lost. Michael Dukakis
promised a liberal
domestic agenda,and he lost.
Yet Mr.Obama is promising all those things, and he's
not behind in
the polls. Why? Because the press has dealt with him as if
he were in a beauty pageant. Mr.Obama talks about getting past
party,getting past red and blue,to lead the United States of America.
But let's look at the more defined strokes of who he is underneath this
superficial 'beauty.'
Start with national security, since the president's most
important duties are as commander-in-chief.
Over the summer, Mr. Obama
talked about invading Pakistan, a nation armed with nuclear
weapons;
meeting without preconditions with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who vows to
destroy
Israel and create another Holocaust; and Kim Jong II, who is
murdering and starving his people,
but emphasized that the nuclear
option was off the table against terrorists - something no president
has
ever taken off the table since we created nuclear weapons in the 1940's.
Even Democrats who have worked in national security condemned all of
those remarks. Mr. Obama is a foreign-policy novice who would
put our
national security at risk.
Next, consider economic policy. For all its faults, our
health care
system is the strongest in the world. And free trade
agreements,created by Bill Clinton as well as President Bush,have made
more goods more
affordable so that even people of modest means can live
a life that no one imagined a generation ago. Yet Mr. Obama promises to
raise taxes
on 'the rich.' How to fix Social Security? Raise taxes. How
to fix Medicare? Raise taxes. Prescription drugs? Raise taxes. Free
college? Raise taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to
everything is to have government
take it over. Big Brother on steroids,
funded by your paycheck.
Finally, look at the social issues. Mr.Obama had the
audacity to open a stadium rally by saying, 'All
praise and glory to
God!' but says that Christian leaders speaking for life and marriage
have 'hijacked' -
hijacked - Christianity. He is pro-partial birth
abortion,and promises to appoint Supreme Court justices who will rule
any restriction on it
unconstitutional. He espouses the abortion views
of Margaret Sanger, one of the early advocates of racial cleansing. His
spiritual leaders endorse homosexual marriage, and he is moving in that
direction. In Illinois, he refused to vote against a
statewide ban - ban
- on all handguns in the state. These are radical left, Hollywood, and
San
Francis co values, not Middle America values.
The real Mr. Obama is an easy target for the general
election. Mrs. Clinton is a far tougher opponent. But Mr. Obama could
win if people don't start looking behind his veneer and
flowery
speeches. His vision of 'bringing America together' means saying that
those who disagree with his agenda for America are hijackers or
warmongers. Uniting the country means adopting his liberal agenda and
abandoning any conflicting beliefs.
But right now everyone is talking
about how eloquent of
a speaker he is and - yes - they're talking about his race. Those should
never be the factors on which we base our choice for president. Mr.
Obama's radical agenda sets him far outside the American mainstream, to
the left of Mrs. Clinton.
It's time to talk about the real
election of firsts, let's first make sure we elect the person who is
qualified to be our president in a
nuclear age during a global
civilizational war.

Miss Speak and the Land of OZ
History is made by those who write it. Isn’t it? I once knew a truck driver who when he filled out his daily log book smirked that it was
mainstream fiction. So. Was it fiction or was he changing history by writing it the way he wanted it to be, at the moment?
Miss Speak has been very creative in her invention of history. From her first statement that she loved Bill to her statement that she was choking when she discovered Monica couldn’t breathe, she has corrected the truth more creatively than even ole Christmas in Cambodia John Kerry or Chappaquidic Ted. But what is truth? Teleology is a teasing science. What is real? What is true?
Each person sees reality through his own eyes. Whose to say that Miss Speak’s interpretation that she was being shot at in Bosnia was not an
accurate report on her perception of what actually happened? Predatory lending, like at Whitewater is only a matter of degree and perception. It is, after-all, not really predatory if you are in
fact the lender. When borrowers are a day late in their payment and their equity is suddenly and totally ripped off, made sweet deals for her. It’s fair, I suppose, since she was not the borrower.
What’s wrong with not being able to find old tax records? They could have discredited her take on
history. The stuff in the White House, was after-all, theirs – for a while. Why not take them along
when they moved? It worries me that she wants to get back to the White House. What will she take
this time? How much will she rent the Lincoln bedroom for this time?
Will she have as many “Bimbo-Explosions” as her husband. Will her exposé include Huma? And
will Bill choke when he reads about it? Or has he already read about it and is getting off on it?
In response to the attacks Miss Speak has suffered, she has successfully fostered a Victim
image. If anyone asks her a direct question she claims misogyny. Her past is so distorted from her rewrite of it that until Obama began asking
questions, her past was a no-go-zone even for the media. Now even the liberals, relieved by Obama’s breaking snow in that area, are
rethinking some of their positions. Her cargo-hold of past scandals is finally coming back to haunt her.
That she screams from her gutter that Obama is playing “gutter politics” is amusing. When I was a
kid we used to say, “Takes one to know one.”

Pelosi Syria Trip
The following article was posted by ABC NEWS a little over a year ago. Reviewing what happened then, may be helpful in interpreting
what's happening now. While Quinn's accusation of Treason against Pelosi, Slaughter, Lantos
and others is still stinking up what little is left of the concept of Honor in the Senate, only the blogs are
picking up the ball at this point.
Quinn pointed out this morning that if proof is desired for these accusations, a review of the
Senator's Hour by Hour Agenda for the trip to Syria would clear the air one way or the other. So far, Slaughter has refused to comply with that request. Maybe it's time to start entertaining applications for a firing squad? Isn't that what we
used to do with TRAITORS?
White House Criticizes Pelosi's Syria Trip
House Speaker Leads Delegation to Syria, White House Calls Trip 'Bad Idea'

ABC News has learned that
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi plans to visit Syria next week to meet with President Bashar Al-Assad. The visit will make Pelosi the most senior U.S. official ever to meet with President Assad.
White House spokesperson Dana Perino strongly criticized Pelosi's planned visit, saying, "We think it is a really bad idea."
"People should take a stop back and think about the message it sends and the message it sends to
our allies," Perino said.
Pelosi will be traveling to Syria has part of a congressional delegation with five other members of the House of Representatives, including one Republican.
As part of the trip, she also plans to visit several other countries in the region, including Israel, where she will deliver a speech to the Knesset.
Pelosi's visit to Syria would come as the United States has severed high-level contacts with Assad's government. The administration
recalled the U.S. ambassador to Damascus after the February 2005 assassination of Rafik Hariri in
Lebanon. There has been very little high- or mid-level U.S. contact with Syria since then.
Last December, a delegation of four senators visited Syria, a trip that was made over the objections of the Bush Administration. At the
time, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice criticized the trip as unhelpful.
Traveling with Pelosi will be Reps. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., Nick Rahall, D-West Virginia, Tom
Lantos, D-Calif., Henry Waxman,
D-Calif., and David Hobson, R-
Ohio.

Obama and Negro Liberation Theology
Obama tried to explain his ideological racial contradictions recently. His twenty year attendance at Trinity United Church of Christ where Jeremiah Wright is the preacher (He is not Reverend so we won’t use that word. He is
not a minister so we won’t use that word either. He is a preacher of a hateful ideology that runs counter point with everything Christianity
stands for.) denounces his stand for unity among the races. His quiet toleration of Wright’s Negro
Liberationism in a context where Negroes have been free for more than a hundred years echoes a
charge I recently heard leveled against him; that he is either dangerously naive or profoundly stupid.
Wrights’ divisive bigotry against non-Negroes flies in the face of the slogan of the United Church of
Christ “That they may all be one.”
Obama’s quiet acceptance of Wrights’ cries from the pulpit that God damn America places him
under the same paint brush we use on Wright, making him the color of hate, the color of segregation, the color of - dare I say – Islam?
Obama’s two daddies were both Muslims were they not? Obama’s early programming was in the
fanatical Muslim schools, was it not?
Obama marginalized Wrights’ radical rantings by lumping Wrights’anger with the anger of the poor,
the soldier, the child without health insurance, the unemployed mill worker. What he essentially did is blow smoke to conceal the issue at hand and the issue at hand was Wright’s radicalism and Obama’s acceptance of it.
Today, Obama wants to be the leader of the free world. To do that he has to distance himself from
Negro Liberationism and Mr. Wright’s fanaticism. That Mr. Wright recently moved into a
multimillion dollar home in a 98% white, gated community clearly reveals his hypocrisy. After long years of damning that life style, he has now embraced it and in an exclusive nearly non-Negro
neighborhood. Maybe he’s afraid if he has too many Negroes among him, it’ll bring his property values down. Hypocrisy and bigotry are
disgusting in any person. In the person of a man who represents himself to be a servant of Christ,
it’s particularly disgusting.

Tennessee's limitless nursing
home lawsuits and resulting record
verdicts have driven the liability
cost per bed here to second highest
in the nation, studies show.
Now some state legislative leaders
have introduced a bill to bring the
liability costs more in line with
comparable cases like those for
medical malpractice and workers
' compensation in a move aimed at
protecting the stability of
community nursing homes.
"The average annual cost of items
like liability insurance, legal services
and other liability-related issues is
now $500,000 per Tennessee
nursing home - enough to hire and
pay for 10 new nurses," said Steve
Flatt, senior vice president of
development for National
Healthcare Corp., an operator of
several Tennessee nursing homes.
"The problem is that our laws right
now allow the filing of limitless
lawsuits claiming tens of millions of
dollars in damages," Flatt said. "The
result is that the big- money
personal injury lawyers from Texas
and Florida have been arriving
regularly to pelt our courts with
lawsuits."
Highlights of the legislation,
introduced today by state Sen. Jim
Tracy (R-Shelbyville) and state
Rep. Randy Rinks (D-Savannah),
include the following:
- It places health services provided
by nursing homes under the same
guidelines as medical malpractice
cases. Attorneys' fees in cases
involving doctors and hospitals
have limits while such fees involving
nursing home litigation do not.
- It allows nursing homes to require
an arbitration agreement for each
patient entering a nursing home.
The provision would not affect
patients already in nursing homes.
- While it does not place limits on
economic damages that can be
claimed in nursing home liability
cases, it does place a limit on non-
economic damages. That limit
would be in line with laws currently
on the books for workers'
compensation cases. It also allows
punitive damages of double the
amount of the non-economic
losses.
"There was almost a billion dollars
spent on nursing home care last
year, and about 93 percent of that
was borne by taxpayers as services
were delivered through TennCare
and Medicare," Flatt said. "This
means that all taxpayers have a
stake in seeing these soaring liability
claims brought under control.
"Good nursing homes are having to
be sold in Tennessee, and that
trend will continue if this problem is
not addressed," he said. "Florida
saw 123 of its nursing homes sold
between 2000 and 2002 before its
legislature took action to solve the
problem. We need to avoid that
happening here."
"Too many health care dollars and
too much time are being spent on
lawsuits and litigation and diverted
from providing care," said Jim
Smith, president and CEO of
Tennessee Health Management,
Inc., another multifacility Tennessee
provider.

The Liberal's Divide And Conquer Strategy:
When pain begins slowly, a person hardly notices it. “It’s not too bad. I can handle it,” they say. That’s what people said in 1913 when the rule in the constitution of the United States against “capitation” (direct taxation) was overridden by the sixteenth amendment. It started out small. It didn’t hurt too much, and according to the Infernal Revenue Code, it only applied to federal employees. If you ignore your rights they will go away. People were complacent and it wasn’t much of a change, on the face of things. That the letters of ratification of the sixteenth amendment mysteriously disappeared really isn’t too significant a detail. It’s rule of law by custom, now.
Custom is a sacred thing to humans. In years past, when immigrants came here, they wanted to be accepted by the new country. The customs of their homes were never forgotten, and often honored, generation after generation, in some cases, but it was never a divisive issue. My Italian descended friends still serve lasagna for Christmas dinner. Some of my British descended friends serve ham. I ask them how anyone, in good conscience, can serve ham to celebrate the birthday of a Jew and they laugh and continue baking their hams. What they don’t do is demand separate accommodations from other Americans. They don’t wave the Union Jack to celebrate British holidays. They are, after-all, Americans now.
The United States of America has always been a multicultural nation, but in that idea was born the “melting pot” concept. We all brought our best and it became what America is today. Our separate backgrounds were our strength.
People of criminal intent often have as a talent, the ability to use what has made us strong - against us. The natural inclination of humans to unravel a puzzle and understand it, for example, has added to our knowledge. It has been extremely important in making us what we are, as humans. The inclination to take a small risk for a big gain is another strength. In our early years a group of people would risk their safety and well being to bring down a big animal that would feed the whole community for weeks. It was a relatively small risk, but it was still a risk. The big animal could and did kill and maim many of us taking such risks. Those two abilities have been perverted in gambling houses where people are systematically cleaned out. Some of us have learned to limit the risk, but not all.
Today there is an element of society who is using the natural inclination we have toward tribalism to weaken our nation. Our families are our tribes. The extended family or tribe includes our religious order, our ethnic backgrounds, our favorite sports teams, our genders and sexual inclinations, our age groups, to name a few. There have always been clubs where people of similar ethnic backgrounds could get together, but those were private organizations. They didn't’t interfere with society in general and they didn’t promote their respective ethnic backgrounds against our shared – new – ethnic kinship of being Americans together. They were and are a sort of nostalgic experience where German descended Americans can have Sauerbraten und Schnitzels together, play German music and remember the good of their ancestry. There are such clubs for every ethnicity represented in our Great Melting Pot. But today, that separateness we all share and celebrate is being focused upon to divide us. It’s being done in such a way as to promote hostility between the various ethnic groups.
It’s nice to honor the traditions of Muslims in public schools, but it’s not nice to promote those traditions while excluding the traditions of others. It’s simply divisive and generates hostility. It’s my contention that this is being done intentionally. It uses the natural inclination we all have toward tribalism to promote tribal warfare. In its insipidness, it is even generating new tribes and encouraging warfare between them. The intent is to “divide and conquer.”
The promotion of stupidity amazes me. The hard won wisdom of the “hoary head” is mocked using the weakening limbs and slow reflexes that accompany old age. Sexual promiscuity is promoted and encouraged in defiance and denial of the ages-old teachings of religion showing human beings how to have rich and fulfilling lives. That in fact, is the reason religion is necessary and successful. The divisive forces promoting animosity between parents, grandparents and children fertilizes the growing separation of youth from wisdom then captivates the youth with charismatic slightly older young people who marginalize the vast importance of education and assimilation into our American Culture.
That it’s happening so slowly is why it’s so successful. A little bit in each generation avoids being recognized. The progress is like Ravel’s “Bolero.” It gets louder and louder, the gradual march of a huge movement gradually overwhelming the senses, especially the “common senses.” Multiculturalism, today, has become a danger. I suppose that is why it is always so stalwartly supported by the ACLU.

Sheriff Joe
You all remember Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona , who painted the jail cells pink and made the inmates wear pink prison garb. Well.........
SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN! Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe!
Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay.
The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who'd like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows.
The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under $3 million. Teresa and I adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was neutered, and current on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day we got him. Cost us $78.
The prisoners get the benefit of about $0.28 an hour for working, but most would work for free, just to be out of their cells for the day. Most of his budget is for utilities, building maintenance, etc. He pays the prisoners out of the fees collected for adopted animals. I have long wondered when the rest of the country would take a look at the way he runs the jail system, and copy some of his ideas. He has a huge farm, donated to the county years ago, where inmates can work, and they grow most of their own fresh vegetables and food, doing all the work and harvesting by hand. He has a pretty good sized hog farm, which provides meat, and fertilizer. It fertilizes the Christmas tree nursery, where prisoners work, and you can buy a living Christmas tree for $6 - $8 for the Holidays, and plant it later. We have six trees in our yard from the Prison. Yup, he was reelected last year with 83% of the vote.
Now he's in trouble with the ACLU again. He painted all his buses and vehicles with a mural, that has a special hotline phone number painted on it, where you can call and report suspected illegal aliens. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement wasn't doing enough in his eyes, so he had 40 deputies trained specifically for enforcing immigration laws, started up his hotline, and bought 4 new buses just for hauling folks back to the border. He's kind of a 'Git-R Dun' kind of Sheriff.

When asked why the weather channel He Replied, So They Will Know How Hot It's Gonna Be While They Are Working
ON My Chain Gangs. He Cut Off Coffee Since It Has Zero Nutritional Value. When the inmates complained, he told them, 'This Isn't The Ritz/Carlton.....If You Don't Like It, Don't Come Back.' He bought Newt Gingrich's lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails. When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place. Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

DAMASCUS, SYRIA—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Syria last month, and the related question of whether or not the U.S. should formally re-engage this Baathist republic, remains as controversial a topic on the streets of Damascus as it was in the days afterwards among Beltway bloggers. And, perverse as it may seem to some American liberals, it is the Syrians who are most sympathetic to their progressive values who have been most critical of Ms. Pelosi’s attempts to begin a dialogue with Syria’s government.
Many Syrian dissidents and pro-democracy activists have privately expressed dismay at Ms. Pelosi’s message of friendship to the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. They say that Ms. Pelosi’s visit, no matter how well-intentioned, has effectively pulled the rug out from under them, critically damaging their efforts to create momentum for reform from within.
“Pelosi’s visit made the regime feel that Americans were divided on how to deal with Syria,” said a Damascus-based women’s-rights activist who, like five other activists interviewed for this article, asked that his name be withheld because he feared punishment. “This sends a message to the regime that the pressure is off, that it can do what it likes.”
It has certainly seemed that way in the weeks since Ms. Pelosi’s departure, during which time the government has imprisoned Kurdish opposition figures while maintaining travel and work bans on political activists.
In the eastern Syrian town of Raqqa, hundreds of people were arrested for protesting rigged parliamentary elections. And over the last month, the Syrian courts have embarked on a veritable spree of sentencing, handing down harsh prison sentences to some of Syria’s most prominent pro-democracy activists.
Last week, the physician and dissident Kamal Labwani was sentenced to 12 years in prison for having met with American officials during a 2005 trip to Washington. This past weekend, the activists Michel Kilo and Mahmoud Issa were sentenced to three years each for having signed the so-called Damascus Declaration, a document petitioning Syria’s government to normalize relations with neighboring Lebanon.
The few Syrian activists who are not presently behind bars say they have all but ceased working.
“Most of us are just sitting and waiting,” said the women’s-rights activist. “It’s too dangerous to try any political activities right now. The regime is making a point, and there’s no telling when the current crackdown will end.”
Even Syrians outside the inner circle of activists seem shaken by the conviction, shortly after Ms. Pelosi’s return to Washington, of Syria’s best-known human-rights lawyer, Anwar al-Bunni. Mr. al-Bunni was convicted of “spreading information that could weaken national morale” and “joining an international organization without proper authorization,” for which he was given a five-year prison sentence.
Mr. al-Bunni is a slight, nervous-looking man, a tireless polymath who, aside from his work defending scores of political prisoners, has helped to found a center offering training in human rights, and has drafted a new constitution for Syria. Last year, he invited a handful of foreign reporters to his home to show them his proposed new constitution, and waved his hands excitedly as he outlined his ideas about what a democratic transition in Syria might look like, how potential power-sharing arguments among Syria’s many ethnic and religious groups could be anticipated and solved.
But Syria’s would-be Thomas Jefferson is in the infamous Adra prison now, and he is known to have been tortured.
“Pelosi’s visit was well-meant, but it’s been bad for everyone, and especially devastating for some of our closest friends in Syria,” an American researcher on Syria said. “The Syrian regime wants to be invited back to the diplomatic table, but at the same time it wants to make the point that none of the concessions that it may make with regard to regional security are connected to the Bush administration’s democracy agenda.”
In an interview last week, Mr. al-Bunni’s brother, Akram, said that he was saddened by Anwar’s sentencing. But even as he offered an explanation of why Syrian dissidents were upset by Ms. Pelosi’s visit, he said that he and his brother hoped at least that such international contacts could prove to have a positive effect in the long run.
“So much of Syria’s opposition was against Pelosi’s visit, against the E.U.’s talks with the regime,” Mr. al-Bunni explained. “They believe that these offers of friendship strengthen the regime and increase its totalitarian tendencies, and they’re angry.
“But perhaps, if the West continues to talk to the regime, our government will wish to improve its image on its own,” he continued. “People who favor this approach point to Turkey. This is a much slower process, but we’ve seen that it can work. The regime would like the world to believe that it doesn’t care about what the world thinks, but we know that’s not true. It will take time, but Syria can be encouraged to cooperate. Now that I’ve seen what happened in Iraq, I fear this is the only way.”

To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it. Our country is now facing the most serious threat to its existence, as we know it, that we have faced in your lifetime and mine (which includes WWII).
The deadly seriousness is greatly compounded by the fact that there are very few of us who think we can possibly lose this war and even fewer who realize what losing really means.
First, let's examine a few basics:
1 When did the threat to us start?
Many will l say September 11, 2001. The answer, as far as the United States is concerned, is 1979, 22 years prior to September 2001, with the following attacks on us:
* Iran Embassy Hostages, 1979;
* Beirut , Lebanon Embassy 1983;
* Beirut, Lebanon Marine Barracks 1983;
* Lockerbie , Scotland Pan-Am flight to New York 1988;
* First New York World Trade Center attack 1993;
* Dhahran , Saudi Arabia Khobar Towers Military complex 1996;
* Nairobi , Kenya US Embassy 1998;
* Dares Salaam , Tanzania US Embassy 1998;
* Aden , Yemen USS Cole 2000;
* New York World Trade Center 2001;
* Pentagon 2001.
(Note: during the period from 1981 to 2001 there were 7,581 terrorist attacks worldwide.)
2 Why were we attacked?
Envy of our position, our success, and our freedoms. The attacks happened during the administrations of Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton and Bush 2. We cannot fault either the Republicans or Democrats, as there were no provocations by any of the presidents or their immediate predecessor, President Ford.
3 Who were the attackers?
In each case, the attacks on the US were carried out by Muslims.
4 What is the Muslim population of the World?
25%.
5 Isn't the Muslim Religion peaceful?
Hopefully, but that is really not material. There is no doubt that the predominately Christian population of Germany was peaceful, but under the dictatorial leadership of Hitler (who was also Christian), that made no difference. You either went alon g with the administration or you were eliminated. There were 5 to 6 million Christians killed by the Nazis for political reasons (including 7,000 polish priests).

Thus, almost the same number of Christians were killed by the Nazis as the six million holocaust Jews who were killed by them, and we seldom hear of anything other than the Jewish atrocities. Although Hitler kept the world focused on the Jews, he had no hesitancy in killing anyone who got in the way of his extermination of the Jews or of taking over the world - German, Christian, or any others.
Same with the Muslim terrorists. They focus the world on the US , but kill all in the way -- their own peop le or the Spanish, British, French or anyone else. The point here is that, just like the peaceful Germans were of no protection to anyone from the Nazis, no matter how many peaceful Muslims there may be, they are no protection for us from the terrorist Muslim leaders and what they are fanatically bent on doing -- by their own pronouncements
-- killing all of us "infidels." I don't blame the peaceful Muslims. What would you do if the choice was to remain silent or be killed?
6 So who are we at war with?
There is no way we can honestly respond that it is anyone other than the Muslim terrorists. Trying to be politically correct and avoid verbalizing this conclusion can well be fatal. There is no way to win if you don't clearly recognize and articulate who you are fighting.
So with that background, now to the two major questions:
1 Can we lose this war?
2 What does losing really mean?
If we are to win, we must clearly answer these two pivotal questions:
We can definitely lose this war and, as anomalous as it may sound, the major reason we can lose is that so many of us simply do not fathom the answer to the second question - What does losing mean?
It would appear that a great many of us think that losing the war means hanging our heads, bringing the troops home, and going on about our business, like post-Vietnam. This is as far from the truth as one can get.
What losing really means is:
We would no longer be the premier country in the world. The attacks will not subside, but, rather, will steadily increase. Remember, they want us dead, not just quiet. If they had just wanted us quiet, they would not have produced an increasing series of attacks against us over the past 18 years. The plan was, clearly, for terrorists to attack us until we were neutered and submissive to them.
We would, of course, have no future support from other nations, for fear of reprisals and for the reason that they would see; we are impotent and cannot help them..
They will pick off the other non-Muslim nations, one at a time. It will be increasingly easier for them. They already hold Spain hostage. It doesn't matter whether it was right or wrong for Spain to w ithdra w its troops from Iraq. Spain did it because the Muslim terrorists bombed their train and told them to withdraw the troops. Anything else they want Spain to do will be done. Spain is finished.
The next will probably be France .. Our one hope with France is that they might see the light and realize that if we don't win, they are finished, too, in that they can't resist the Muslim terrorists without us. However, it may already be too late for France . France is already 20% Muslim and fading fast.
Without our support, Great Britain will go, also. Recently, I read that there are more mosques in England than churches.
If we lose the war, our production, income, exports, and way of life will all vanish as we know it. After losing, who would trade or deal with us if they were threatened by the Muslims? If we can't stop the Muslim terrorists, how could anyone else?
The radical Muslims fully know what is riding on this war, and therefore are completely committed to winning, at any cost. We'd better know it, too, and be likewise committed to winning at any cost.
Why do I go on at such lengths about the results of losing? Simple. Until we recognize the costs of losing, we cannot unite and really put 100% of our thoughts and efforts into winning. And it is going to take that 100% effort to win.
So, how can we lose the war?
Again, the answer is simple. We can lose the war by "imploding." That is, defeating ourselves by refusing to recognize the enemy and their purpose and failing to dig in and lend full support to the war effort. If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. If we continue to be divided, there is no way that we can win.
Let me give you a few examples of how we simply don't comprehend the life and death seriousness of this situation:
President Bush selects Norman Mineta as Secretary of Transportation. Although all of the terrorist attacks were committed by Muslim men between 17 and 40 years of age, Secretary Mineta refuses to allow profiling. Does that sound like we are taking this thing seriously? Thi s is w ar! For the duration, we are going to have to give up some of the civil rights to which we have become accustomed. We had better be prepared to lose some of our civil rights temporarily or we will most certainly lose all of them permanently.
And don't worry that it is a slippery slope. We gave up plenty of civil rights during WWII, and immediately restored them after the victory .... and, in fact, added many more since that time.
Do I blame President Bush or President Clinton before him?
No, I blame us for blithely assuming we can maintain all of our Political Correctness and all of our civil rights during this conflict and have a clean, lawful, honorable war. None of those words apply to war. Get them out of your head.
Some have gone so far in their criticism of the w ar and/or the Administration that it almost seems they would literally like to see us lose.
I think some actually do. I hasten to add that this isn't because they are disloyal. It is because they just don't recognize what losing means. Nevertheless, that conduct gives the impression to the enemy that we are divided and weakening. It concerns our friends and it does great damage to our cause.
Of more recent vintage, the uproa r fuel ed by the politicians and media regarding the treatment of some prisoners of war perhaps exemplifies best what I am saying. We have recently had an issue involving the treatment of a few Muslim prisoners of war, by a small group of our military police.. These are the type prisoners who just a few months ago were throwing their own people off buildings, cutting off their hands, cutting out their tongues, and otherwise murdering their own just for disagreeing with Saddam Hussein.
And, just a few years ago, these same type prisoners chemically killed 400,000 of their own people for the same reason. They are a lso th e same type of enemy fighters who recently were burning Americans and dragging their charred corpses through the streets of Iraq . And, still more recently, the same type of enemy that was and is providing videos to all news sources internationally of the beheading of American prisoners they held.
Compare this with some of our press and politicians, who for several days have thought and talked about nothing else but the "humiliating" of some Muslim prisoners -- not burning them, not dragging their charred corpses through the streets, not beheading them, but "humiliating" them.
Can they be for real?
The politicians and pundits have even talked of impeachment of the Secretary of Defense. If this doesn't show the complete lack of comprehension and understanding of the seriousness of the enemy we are fighting, the life and death struggle we are in, and the disastrous results of lo sing t his war, nothing can.
To bring our country to a virtual political standstill over this prisoner issue makes us look like Nero playing his fiddle as Rome burned -- totally oblivious to what is going on in the real world. Neither we, nor any other country, can survive this internal strife. Again, I say, this does not mean that some of our politicians or media people are disloyal. It simply means that they are absolutely oblivious to the magnitude of the situation we are in and into which the Muslim terrorists have been pushing us for many years.
These people are a serious and dangerous liability to the war effort. We must take note of who they are and get them out of office. Remember, the Muslim terrorists stated goal is to kill all infidels. That translates into ALL non-Muslims -- not just in the United States , but throughout the world. We are the last bastion of defense.
We have been criticized for many years as being 'arrogant.' That charge is valid. We are arrogant in that we believe that we are so good, powerful, and smart that we can win the hearts and minds of all those who attack us, and that , with both hands tied behind our back, we can defeat anything bad in the world. We can't!
If we don't recognize this, our nation, as we know it, will not survive, and no other free country in the world will survive if we are defeated.
And, finally, name any Muslim countries throughout the world that allow freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, equal rights for anyone -- let alone everyone, equal status or any status for women, or that have been productive in one single way that contributes to the good of the world.
This has been a long way of saying that we must be united on this war or we will be equated in the history books to the self- inflicted fall of the Roman Empire . If, that is, the Muslim leaders will allow history books to be written or read.
If we don't win this war right now, keep a close eye on how the Muslims take over France in the next 5 years or less. They will continue to increase the Muslim population of France and continue to encroach, little by little, on the established French traditions.
The French will be fighting among themselves over what should or should not be done, which will continue to weaken them and keep them from any united resolve. Doesn't that sound eerily familiar?
Democracies don't have their freedoms taken away from them by some external military force. Instead, they give their freedoms away, politically correct piece by politically correct piece.
And they are giving those freedoms away to those who have shown, worldwide, that they abhor freedom and will not apply it to you or even to themselves, once they are in power.
Muslims have universally shown that when they have tak en ove r, they then start brutally killing each other over who the few will be controlling the masses.
What is happening in Iraq is a good example. Will we ever stop hearing from the politically correct about the "peaceful Muslims?"
I close on a hopeful note by repeating what I said before: If we are united, there is no way that we can lose. I hope now, after the election, the factions in our country will begin to focus on the critical situation we are in, and will unite to save our country. It is your future we are talking about. Do whatever you can to preserve it. I reiterate: our national election is under way.
After reading the above, we all must do this, not only for ourselves, but for our children, our grandchildren, our country, and our world. Whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal ... and that includes the Politicians and media of our country and the free world.
Please forward this to any you feel may want, or NEED to read it. Our "leaders" in Congress ought to read it, too. There are those who find fault with our country, but it is obvious to anyone who truly thinks through this, that we must UNITE!
Lastly, I wish to add: at the risk of offending, I sincerely think that anyone who rejects this as just another political rant, or doubts t he ser iousness of this issue, or just deletes it without sending it on, is part of the problem. Let's quit laughing at and forwarding the jokes and cartoons which denigrate and ridicule our leaders in this war against terror. They are trying to protect the interests and well being of the US and it's citizens. Best we support them.

Fight back: Malpractice in the billing department
Between errors and bill padding, fighting a hospital overcharge or denied medical claim can take some smart strategies.

NEW YORK (MONEY Magazine) - Consider, just for a moment, the swirl of the modern health-care system. One wrong keystroke by a hospital administrator can land you in red tape hell.
That's enraging -- and scary.
"Would you believe a thousand-dollar toothbrush?" says Nora Johnson, a medical-billing auditor who has seen that and a lot of other absurdities. "More than 90 percent of the bills I review are either wrong or padded beyond belief."
Her own husband was once charged for blood tests for a newborn as part of his hip-replacement surgery. ("I was pretty sure he hadn't had a baby.")
If billing errors result in overcharging or, worse, a denied claim, understanding the bureaucracy -- the very thing that drives you nuts -- is your best offense.
How to fight back:
1. Know the codes
Your bill will be awash with medical shorthand for the treatment you received. There are two kinds of codes:
? Diagnostic codes (a.k.a. ICD-9 codes), which identify what was wrong with you
? Procedure codes (a.k.a. CPT codes), which describe what treatment you received
Coding problems can be the result of either blatant padding (one procedure to remove tonsils and adenoids is "unbundled" and billed as two separate procedures) or keystroke errors (one typo causes a mismatch between the ICD-9 and the CPT codes, and your claim is branded a "coding error" and rejected). If your claim bounces back or the bill seems high, ask the hospital or doctor for a thorough explanation of each and every code.
2. Be more prepared than they are
Everyone knows you're supposed to hang on to bills, but here's something most people miss: doctor's orders. Every time your physician prescribes something -- blood tests, X-rays, medication -- it's recorded in her standing orders.
You have a right to this stuff, so request a copy from the billing office. Keep it in a personal medical file, which should also include the following documents:
? Reports by any technician handling a procedure, as well as the nurses who administer medication or shuttle you around in your paper gown
? Itemized bills (request these from your doctors or hospital, possibly after your treatment visit)
? Your insurance paperwork
? Your own notes from each doctor visit
3. Demand relief by certified mail
Send (certified) a detailed letter to your doctor's office or hospital requesting a corrected bill. Then send (certified) another, equally detailed letter describing the problem, including your documentation, to the insurer. Don't forget copies of the doctor's orders and the bill.
If the doctor did order a test or procedure but the orders weren't carried out, you'll need documentation proving that. (Paperwork, as you may have surmised, is pretty much your lifeblood here.) Most insurers have a time limit, typically 30 or 60 days, within which they'll consider routine appeals. So get a move on.

Obama's Foot in Mouth Disease
Some time ago Larry Kroutman wrote that Conservatives think Liberals are stupid and Liberals think Conservatives are evil. This is the reason, he postulated, they communicate poorly. Now, I am watching a man running for President of the United States, who refuses to salute the flag, recite the pledge of allegiance, wear his flag lapel pin and thinks Americans are a bunch of Elmer Fudds who cling to their religion and guns because they are so bitter about the economy. This man is the front runner for the Democratic Party. He’s been associated with racism and bigotry. He is descended from an Islamic father in a time when the free world is at war with Islam. He can’t get it straight that tax increases reduce revenue to the government.
An article in the Wall Street Journal dated April 18, titled “Obama’s Tax Evasion,” reports Obama’s interactions with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos and Charlie Gibson. They held his feet to the fire over capital gains tax increases and revenue pointing out the history. Every time the capital gains tax has been increased, revenue has fallen. Every time the tax has been reduced, revenue soared. Obama’s response was
“Raising the capital gains rate is necessary,” he said, “to make sure our tax system is fair and that we are able to finance health care for Americans who currently don’t have it and that we’re able to invest in our infrastructure and invest in our schools, and you can’t do that for free.”
He doesn’t get it. He thinks that if that tax is raised it will produce more money when it has been proven that increasing the tax reduces income to the government. Why is this so? Higher taxes result in less investing. Lower taxes result in more investing. The higher percentage of the smaller pot is less than the lower percentage of a much bigger pot. He doesn’t get it and obviously doesn’t understand the history lesson they gave him. The Journal says, “Either the young Illinois Senator is ignorant of this revenue data, or he doesn’t really care because he’s a true income redistributionist who prefers higher tax rates as a matter of ideological dogma regardless of the revenue consequences.”
This man, B. Hussein Obama at the present time is the first choice of the Democrats/Liberal Socialists, for leader of the free world and he’s obviously a poor choice. There are more reasons why he’s a poor choice. We are at a time in history when we MUST negotiate with the Islamic world. The Arab world teaches that women are property and looks down its nose at Negroes. Obama is a half-breed Negro. This will hurt him in his work with the Islamic world, unless all he wants to do is lie down with them. His statements that he wants to reduce the military, slow research into new weapons systems and strip us of our personal weapons makes me wonder what he has in mind. Hillary is even a poorer choice for a negotiator with Muslims. Under their law she would be executed for speaking in public. It is impossible for the Arab world to ideologically take either of them seriously. It’s impossible, for that matter, to take either of them seriously, anywhere, considering the way they twist the truth, hedge their inconsistencies, conceal their historic screw ups and openly express contempt for the people they want to vote for them.
Kroutman was wrong when he said Conservatives think Liberals are stupid. Kroutman would have us believe that is an opinion. That Liberals are stupid is not an opinion. It’s a regularly demonstrated fact. Just look at the Obama polls and see for yourself.

Pelosi Exoneration
Exonerate Pelosi – or Prosecute
Serious charges were leveled at Nancy Pelosi, Louise Slaughter, Tom Lantos and others. In his April 11, 2008 broadcast, Jim Quinn of the Quinn and Rose show accused them of conspiring in 2007 with Syrian terrorist organizations to squeeze off the supply lines to the United States Troops in Iraq hoping for an early United States defeat there.
Since then, I’ve spoken with members of the United States Diplomatic Corp. They say the accusations are “preposterous,” that it would be impossible for anyone to pull that off without anyone knowing about it. Further, Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House, second in line for president of the United States. It’s unthinkable that anyone in that position could do such a thing. On the other hand, if the accusations are true, that people who would do such things are in such powerful positions is horrendous. The accusation needs resolving. Conservatives don’t much like Nancy Pelosi or the other Democrats named in the accusation. Liberals generally tend to support Nancy and the others. It is in the interest of EVERYONE to resolve the issue. The accusations must be investigated. If they are indeed untrue, then Nancy and the others should be publicly exonerated. If the accusations ARE true, these people should be dealt with in accordance with the law of the land. Either way, the cloud this has created over the loyalty of the Congress would be, should be and must be removed.
That the mainstream media ignores the issue is characteristic of their general policies, to support the agenda of the ACLU, bringing down the United States of America using its own constitution against it. They ignore stories like the one about Pelosi and her fellows while supporting any slur they can find against mainstream America.
The people of the United States of America need to have this issue resolved. The Chigger is circulating a petition to that effect. If you want to exonerate Nancy and her fellows of this accusation, sign and forward the petition. If you want to find her and the others guilty, sign and forward the petition. Let’s get behind this and eliminate the problem.

delegation meeting with members

if we continue to talk about it the

Kurd or even a PKK member or
a sister terrorist organization might
be willing to discuss what they
know or one of the intelligent
sources, French, US, Israeli,
Iraqi, who already are aware of

need to leak it...or even a
democratic staffer will come
forward with the facts... If this is
true we have a bunch of people in
the congress of the United States
who have committed reason...they
have actually consorted with the
enemy to create a situation that

Kerry apparently believed Hitler’s
dictum (Mein Kampf) that if a
person lies long enough and loudly
enough, the masses will believe
him.
Many did believe Kerry.
What about Pelosi, Slaughter,
Lantos and the others? Do they
really want power so badly they
would engineer a defeat of our
troops to gain it? They scream
about the loss of lives the conflict
in Iraq has cost the United States,
but follow through by
engineering the guarantee of even
more deaths, maimings and the
ultimate defeat of our forces on
foreign soil.
Treason doesn’t seem to be taken
seriously anymore. Ted Kennedy
was accused of giving military
secrets to the leader of the Soviet
Union, Nikita Krushchev. John
Kerry met with Viet Cong leaders
to undermine the United States
efforts in Viet Nam. He further
made defaming speeches against
our military that the Viet Cong
later used to demoralize our
troops they held prisoner. What
does America do with Traitors
today? We elect them to the
United States Senate.
What is so utterly shameful is this.
The character of our legislators
has been allowed to deteriorate so
badly that when an accusation like
this one is leveled at the Speaker
of the House of Representatives in
the Congress of the United States
of America, I actually believe it.
Her actions, at least are
consistent.
As I write this,
Quinn made his
revelation 3 days
ago. As of now, no
one has raised an
eyebrow. It's not
been mentioned in
the mainstream news
media. It's not
been in any
newspaper I read.
The only mention
I've found of it at
all is in Blogs.
Are we as a nation
so callused to the
sicknesses of our
leaders that we
ignore even high
treason? Maybe we
deserve to fall.
Maybe it's time.
Maybe periodicals
like the Chigger and
the many others like
this paper will wake
people up. But I
doubt it. The
Sleeping Giant needs
a Pearl Harbor to

Charles Schumer is
masterminding a campaign to
overturn the pro-gun majority in
the U.S. Senate. Should Schumer
succeed, he and fellow Senate
Judiciary Committee members
Ted Kennedy and Diannie
Feinstein would have the votes to
block every federal judge nominee
who supports the Second
Amendment. That, of course,
would include any United States
Supreme Court nominee.
When gun ownership and crime
statistics are so strongly in favor of
private ownership of firearms,
the Democrats still fight to
eliminate firearm ownership.
What is their real agenda? That
private firearm ownership is
proven to be responsible, is
proven to deter crime, is
guaranteed in the U.S.
Constitution as a last check and
balance, WHY do they seek its
end? Are they indeed on the side
of tyrrany? Are they indeed on
the side of increased violent
crime? In nearly every nation on
Earth that collected the firearms,
that act was followed with
genocide or dramatically
increased violent crime.
Australia's violent crime rate
increased by over 300% after
they collected the guns. Canada's
violent crime rate increased by a
similar number after they collected
the guns. Gun free zones invite
violent crime because criminals
know they can go there without
fear. Virginia Tech bragged of the
safety of their campuses after
making them gun free zones.
There, where no one could or had
the right of self defense, students
were slaughtered wholesale by a
criminal who knew he was safe
there.
I don't think it's possible to
wake up Liberal America. That's
because they aren't asleep.
They're brain dead. They are so
conditioned to voting for the home
team that they forgot that national
elections are not for sports teams.
The Yankees and the Dodgers
forever - yeah. But national
leadership should be handled by
the most capable, not those who
have the home team name that
grandfather may have voted for.
Voting must be done by conscious
people. The nicest smile and the
nicest ass are not the best criteria
for best leader.
