Pelosi distinguishes herself as a real leader in stupidity: "Earmarks" designate portions of funds from subsidy bills like the Farm Bill as a break down of where the designated money for the Bill will go. While the bill may require debate, the earmarks don't. Nancy Pelosi used her clout as Speaker of the House and Second in line for President of the United States to insert an earmark for the "distressed" salmon industry in Alaska. The Salmon are apparently a sparse this year, so the salmon fishermen are fishing for other species like Snow Crab, King Crab, Cod, perhaps. They are not out of work, but this year they will get two paychecks, one for their catch and one from the Tax Payer for $100,000 to offset their loss of Salmon. The loss to the fishing industry for the loss of the Salmon is estimated at about $22 Million, but the Earmark from Nancy is for $174 Million, go figure. That's in addition to the $60 Million we tax payers gave them last year. To apply for the money, fishermen and other related businesses get to pick out their best year (2002-2003) to use for a basis for their windfall gift from the taxpayers. When CBS tried to interview Pelosi, she was, of course, unavailable for comment. Another "Earmark" in the "Food and Energy Security Act," designates another $250 Million for "forest fish" in Montana. The Food and Energy Security Act could have been beneficial to farmers, stabilizing food supply and the market but the Democrats added stupid things, making the 2008 Farm Bill a "bloat fest." It would appear that when California's favorite daughter isn't in Syria negotiating with America's enemies for the fall of the United States in Iraq, she's at home raping the tax payers, driving up energy prices by blocking drilling and new refineries. Oh, when asked to comment on her adventures in Syria, she was also unavailable. When are California's voters going to look beyond the pallet knife Nancy apparently has to use to cover up her face lift scars and get her the hell out of office? But that question is rhetorical, I suppose. California also keeps Diane Rhinestone in office so she can continue to work for a defenseless citizenry. Diane wants all law abiding citizens to give up their fire arms so that only illegal aliens and other criminals will have them. Diane Rhinestone is an advocate for anarchy, chaos and the common criminal. Nancy Pelosi's towering stupidity is only exceeded by her towering hypocrisy. Peter Schweizer in his book Do As I Say clearly exposes her as an Ecological Scofflaw, an out-of-Touch-Elitist and an Exploiter of Immigrant Labor. No wonder she fights for the rights of illegals. They are the main work force in her vineyards and hotel chains. Nancy is one of California's enlightened ones who disagreed with the Boy Scouts' hiring policies and tried to pass legislation preventing them from using public facilities like schools for their activities. She is no doubt cheering the loss of their facility in Filthydelphia. Just in case anybody still needs a copy of the Petition to prosecute or exonerate Nancy Pelosi for her treasonous acts in Syria, here is the link. One very frightening thing is that if 70 year old John McCain is elected president, Nancy Pelosi will be second in line for the office as Speaker of the House. The only candidate who frightens me even more than Nancy is Barack Muhammed Hussein Obama. The Chigger predicts that if Obama is elected, we will soon have Marines in Kenya supporting Obama's cousin Raila Odinga. If Obama loses the election, he may even do what Raila did, declare the election was stolen and try to start a civil war. ++++++++++++++++++++++ In a letter to the Editor of the Wall Street Journal (5/14/2008), Leon Zelby of Oklahoma decries the teacher evaluation process in New York where he is a retired, veteran educator. According to Zelby, teacher evaluations in New York no longer take into consideration the performance of the students. What a quaint idea. That's a bit like measuring the speed of an automobile by finding out who is buried in Grant's tomb. That a teacher's effectiveness can be measured without looking at the performance of that teacher's students is yet another statement of how irrelevant education has become in the public school systems. When corporal punishment was abolished in the public schools, we could see the writing on the walls. The schools had been forbidden to control the students. Yes there were abuses, but now the abuse is profound. Now students get pregnant in the stair wells. Drugs are as common in the public schools as pencils and if the students don't bring their drugs, they get them prescribed. I'm talking about downers like Riddilen. Curious, active students, instead of getting challenged by their class work, get anesthetized. In Massachusetts, recently, I heard the complaint that teachers with reading proficiency levels of only eighth grade are teaching tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade English and reading. It's a curiosity how Massachusetts thinks a person who would fail tenth grade English is somehow qualified to teach it. That puzzled me. I finally realized that their purpose must be something other than educating. Then I realized that if students were proficient in their studies, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry might not continue to get elected. An educated populace certainly would not vote for such people. Of Course in California, one expects such things. Nancy Pelosi's bailiwick has demanded that "family life curriculum was to recognize homosexual life styles." So I guess it's important to be able to read in California more so that Massachusetts because in California, students have to learn about sodomy being an acceptable life style. If California isn't teaching sexual perversion in its classrooms it's teaching Islam . In Brent wood California, students returning from Christmas break were surprised to find they could not wear a cross or refer to Christianity. On the other hand, they were required to study the tenets and leaders of Islam, wear Muslim clothes and study the Koran. The ACLU stayed out of it, of course. The ACLU stays out of everything that might be destructive to the American Culture. That's what the ACLU does. In New York, the New York City Gay Teachers Association has over 300 members in the public schools. As homosexual teachers come out of the closet, pride in their openness and practice will be explicit, especially if the new civil rights laws guarantee they can suffer no reprisal. Parents have every right to resist classroom influences that contradict the morality they are trying to teach at home. It used to be that the purpose of the public schools was to educate the populace so they could vote intelligently. WMAL president and general manager Chris Berry told the industry publication Radio & Records: "Some of Michael's statements about Islam went over the line — and this isn't the first time that he has been reprimanded for insensitive language and comments. I asked Michael for an on-air acknowledgement that some of his remarks were overly broad and inexplicably he refused." Our Comments: I heard a story about Nihad this week. It seems that when he applied for Citizenry in the U.S. he was asked to use "yellow," "green," and "pink," in a sentence. When Obama screwed up (again) recently and said he had visited all 57 states, there was a flap about it on talk radio. That got me thinking so I got out my search engines and did the search. There are 57 states in "The Organization of Islamic Conference Member States ." Obama didn't make a mistake about how many states there are. He made a mistake about where he is a citizen. This slip may be a real clue as to where his real loyalties lie. He thinks he's a citizen of the Organization of Islamic Conference Member States. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ True laziness is the ability to be able to do nothing with a clear conscience. Having a clear conscience requires that no responsibility is left unfulfilled. The truly lazy person, therefore, works diligently until all responsibilities are fulfilled so that they can do nothing with a clear conscience. The clear conscience is necessary because without it, the truly lazy person will be spending time worrying. If one is worrying, then one is not doing nothing. Our world has many Lazyman - wannabees. They work aimlessly and endlessly, without hope, failing to understand that constant work fails to qualify as doing nothing. Dragging out the work leaves worry at the end of the day. That drags down the individual's self esteem. The truly lazy person wants to get the jobs all done so they can do nothing in peace and quiet. Truly lazy people take pride in their laziness. This is a true art form. Often we hear remarks about how hard and diligently someone is working. This fully fails to understand the nature of true laziness. The hard working, careful, diligent worker is planning on getting the stuff done so they can - yes - do nothing - with a clear conscience. The destructive nature of the hourly wage: Paying a truly lazy person by the hour is the same as placing them in a sort of mini-hell. In an eight or ten hour day, the person has to be busy during all of those endless hours. The job is endless and can never be completed. Instead of clearly defined responsibilities which can be fulfilled systematically, it's an endless array of responsibility. In this situation the truly lazy person has a fundamental and internal rebellion manifesting statements like "the work expands to fill the time." It becomes truly awesome how little can be accomplished in eight or ten hours when the truly lazy person is being paid by the hour. If the employer wants to see happy employees and lively action, the truly lazy person should be paid for what he or she does, instead of for the time it takes to do it. Production goals should be based on limited amounts of time like four or eight hour periods instead of monthly or quarterly production goals. Truck driving is an ideal job for the truly lazy person because the responsibilities are very clearly and easily understood and fulfilled. We drive so many miles then we can do nothing with a clear conscience for a period of hours. Frequently that number of miles is difficult to complete because of traffic and other conditions, but the job is clear and has a logical end we can affect with our tenacity. The allure of doing nothing for a while drives the driver. It's the best of all possible worlds for the truly lazy person. We must remember when we hear someone accused of being lazy that what is usually meant is the person is a wannabee. True laziness never brings accusations of that kind. The wannabees need help and guidance and with that little bit of education, they too can someday become able to enjoy true laziness. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Mr. Obama expresses outrage when attacked by "Swift Boaters," as he puts it. His claims of unfairness are laughable. How can Mr. Obama express outrage when he himself is such an outrage? He refuses to salute the flag. He refuses to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance He refuses to wear his flag lapel pin - a Senate identification. His rally in Oregon opened with the Soviet National Anthem. (What I want to know is - did he put his hand over his heart for that one?) He comes from a Muslim heritage, a religion vowed to destroy the West. He blatantly lies about his family heritage particularly his mother. He surrounds himself with Marxists, Racists and Socialists. He has family ties with revolutionaries in foreign countries. He's to stupid to understand basic economics even when it's spelled out. He has the same foreign policy plan as McCain but says McCain's policies won't work! He calls the efforts against terrorism in Iraq a failure while Petraeus is about to withdraw troupes because they are no longer needed. He thinks that increasing the cost of fuel (higher taxes) will reduce prices. He's running for President of The United States! This is an outrage! And more outrage is that the public education system has so failed that people can't see through this Scheister, Marxist Politician from the Left. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The American Civil Liberties Union continues its fight against anything wholesome, supportive of family values or expressive of anything to do with religion relating the the Judeo-Christian tradition. Religion in public life seems to be okay with them as long as that religion expressed there is Islam. Their stance on the Scouts using Military Bases and Public schools for their meetings and functions stems from the fact that the word "God" is in the Scout's oath. "On my honor," goes the Oath, "I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country, and to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight." Roger Baldwin's oath to bring down the United States of America using its own constitution against it is still making progress while good people everywhere wring their hands and mutter platitudes about tolerance. The founder of the ACLU made no pretense that his intention did not have Communism as its goal. He stated clearly that he sought an end to private property ownership. Today, almost a hundred years later, the ACLU continues its devilment. Today the ACLU has over 300,000 members; people who think they are supporting the Bill of Rights. Baldwin's instructions to his minions clarified how to do it.: “Do steer away from making it look like a Socialist enterprise...We want also to look like patriots in everything we do. We want to get a good lot of flags, talk a good deal about the Constitution and what our forefathers wanted to make of this country, and to show that we are really the folks that really stand for the spirit of our institutions.” — Baldwin's advice in 1917 to Louis Lochner of the socialist People's Council in Minnesota. Lots of people have been duped by Baldwin's atrocity. Today, in the name of separation of church and state, they deny expression of any faith (except Islam) in the public life or supported by public funds and do their best to impose the religion of "Atheism." Atheism would be their new State Religion. People think we're using hyperbole when we say Atheism is a religion. It's not Hyperbole. According to Robert Noss's book, Man's Religions, to qualify as a religion, an organization has to have certain characteristics. They include a definition of deity, a code for living, and an explanation of what happens when a person dies. Atheism does all these things and more. It even evangelizes for new members. Its strongest advocate today is the ACLU who seeks to make this religion the state religion. The word "God" in the oath of the Boy Scouts doesn't advocate a religion. It simply recognizes that most people believe in God in one form or another. It uses that belief to symbolically bind the person to the oath. It doesn't define God. It doesn't advocate a sect that defines God. Forcing the removal of the word "God" from public life does nothing more than support the advocacy of Atheism, the one religion that denies the existence of a Supreme Being. The ACLU is not defending the Bill of Rights when it attacks the Boy Scouts, it is advocating its own religion, a new state religion being foisted upon the people of the United States of America. If you have not yet signed and forwarded the petitions to force Filthydelphia to change its name, and/or the petition to bar Subversive organizations from the American court system as third party litigators, it's time to do so. ++++++++++++++++++++++++ As you have no doubt read or heard, the Boy Scouts have been dropped by notable charities supporting the Socialist Left who are working for the demise the United States' Liberties and way of life. United Way is one of them. Stephen Spielberg, surprisingly is another one to withdraw his charitable support from the Boy Scouts of America because they refuse to hire homosexuals and atheists as Scout leaders. Jim Quinn made a good point this morning (5/30/8). The Girl Scouts don't hire nineteen year old boys to be their scout leaders, sending them into the woods for days at a time with fourteen through sixteen year old girls. The reasons are too obvious to belabor. If they are sexually attracted to each other, it would create distractions, shall we say, from the objects of the camping experience. Much has been written about the concept of victim mentality as a psychological condition but relatively little has been written about it as a tool for subjugating the masses. Any political leader who tries to divide his society with the "us/them" slogan is doing just that. It's easy to impose the victim mentality on people. Tell them they are being discriminated against by the nameless "them" for being overweight, a particular race, a particular religion, underweight, too intelligent, to dumb. People are easily seduced by such arguments and lumped together as a "victimized" group. Except possibly for the most extreme bigots, people tend to judge and deal with each other as individuals, not on the basis of a "group" that person may belong to. People who put down another race, then having to actually work with and know a person of the demeaned race, recognizes the person as an individual and usually accepts him or her as just that. It's fun to have clubs that honor our ethnicity. I've visited the local German/American Club. In another place, I enjoyed a visit to the Polish/American Club. They served interesting food andhave unique music. But as an American, I have to recognize there is no such thing as a German American. They are either Germans or Americans. The club is for people of German descent who want to honor their families' traditions, but in no German American I have ever visited did I hear them sing, "Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Alles." There is also no such thing as an African American. We are either Africans or Americans. Pick one. Using one's genetic heritage to foster the victim mentality has been a tool of the unscrupulous to subjugate the weak minded. Jeremiah Wright is a classic. He used the victim mentality weapon on his own parishioners to gain power and prestige, damning middle class values, entrepreneurship, the profit motive and then outed himself by moving into a nearly all white, gated neighborhood to a house that costs more than most of his parishioners would earn in their lifetimes. What a blatant hypocrite. His victims may never recover. They are burdened with the idea that before they are people, they are a color. They start out the day with a chip on their shoulders waiting for a chance to feel "victimized," and object to it. Politicians like Hillary Clinton and many others before have victimized people with the victim mentality to polarize voters in their favor. Hillary is one of the wealthiest women in the country but she decries benefits to the wealthy defining "wealthy" as people who have far less than she does. Her favorite heavy lately has been "oil interests." How dare they make a profit when the Democratic Party has done everything it can to insure that Big Oil doesn't succeed. Blocking new drilling, new refineries, reclassifying oil sands oil as too dirty. They've even had the cheek to suggest that increasing taxes on fuels would lower prices. We're all victims of the Big Oil companies, not Democratic blunders. If that can be said with enough elegance, as Obama can say it, people accept their victimhood and begin to arm against the perceived enemy. Before they are a person, they are a victim. Michele Obama probably adopted her victim mentality long before her first encounters with Jeremiah Wright. She's too convinced of it to have adopted the position late in life. Before Michele is a person, she is Black, in her own mind. She has said this. Her exposure to Jeremiah Wright who has made an occupation of manipulating people with this mind set probably pushed her over the edge. Michele has chosen to be a victim. She has had every opportunity the western world can offer her including a Princeton education on the tax payers dime, but she still thinks she's a victim. Here's a message to Michele; "Get out of hell free. Change your thinking and change your life. You're not a victim. You are the wife of someone will almost be elected President of the United States. Try looking at the person instead of their category. Stereotyping is okay for characters in novels, but not for everyday interactions with other human beings. People are people, not ethnicities. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ General Petraeus's attackers on the home shore have outed themselves, again. The Socialist element who has been calling the General, "General Betray Us," have been telling the truth all this time, but we didn't understand. General Petraeus has been gradually succeeding in Iraq and his efforts have been echoed around the world. World wide, terrorism is down 40% since 2001, according to Jim Quinn (Quinn and Rose - The War Room). Al Qaeda's strength has been reduced in Iraq by 94% in the last year and General Petraeus has announced that he may be reducing troupe presence in Iraq as soon as September. ------------------------- The al Qaeda report states that in 2006 al Qaeda accounted for 60% of all enemy activity in Iraq, but jihadi operations collapsed by 94% in the past year of the Surge. Rather than making general assertions, the report instead offers precise numbers tabulated by al Qaeda itself. Al-Qaeda states that it performed 334 operations in Nov. 2006, 292 in May 2007, then free fell to 25 in Nov. 2007 and performed only 16 operations thus far in May 08. --------------------------------------- What this means is that Petraeus is winning. That is the betrayal. He betrayed the Socialist Anti-American groups and people like Nancy Pelosi and Louise Slaughter who were accused of going to so much trouble (in Syria) to make sure Petraeus did not succeed. Bravo General Petraeus!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Employee Notices Posted in English and Spanish is discriminatory. Where I work, there is an employee's break room. In the break room there are numerous postings about the law. Some of them deal with equal opportunity employment, minimum wage notifications, workers compensation benefits and others. All of these posters are posted in English and Spanish. There is no one who works at this place who speaks only Spanish. Everyone understands and reads primarily English. I suppose it's nice that we are taking into consideration that a guest may walk in who can't read English and there will be posters there that they can read in Spanish. The problem is this. What if this guest speaks only German? What if he or she speaks only Portuguese? Then we could have guests wander into the employee's break room who speak only Swahili. That could present a problem. Those people may be somehow offended or intimidated that the posters don't include their languages too. That the posters do not include every language on Earth is discriminatory. That there are actually Spanish speaking people in the community is not really relevant since no one at the work facility speaks only Spanish. There are also German speaking people in the community and people who speak only Latvian, Ukrainian and Polish. If we are going to take steps to avoid being discriminatory to Hispanics, then we should be equally concerned about speakers of other languages. What about Arabic for goodness sake? Islamics may be offended, and if we add Arabic, what about foot washing stations? If we don't supply foot washing stations, the Islamics may be offended. In view of the fear our society is expressing about Islam in the form of establishing foot washing stations in airports and schools, we should certainly be concerned about including notices in Arabic. I know that every place now has notices in English and Spanish. Maybe it's time to start a petition about English as a national language? I doubt it would go anywhere. We're to far into hand wringing about the situation with illegal aliens and Muslims to go beyond that. When our ladies are wearing Berkas and secloistered at home, not allowed to work, go to school or drive us to work, maybe we'll stop our hand wringing and actually do something about this nonsense. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Undermining Family Values Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit orders is quoted as having said, "Give me a child at the age of seven and when he is ten, I will give you a Catholic for Life." Indoctrination of children is a profession of the parent, the teacher and the unscrupulous. In the beginning of the United States, public education was intended to provide a population who could read and understand what was going on in the world around them so that when it came time to vote, they could make wise choices. The system worked for a long time. After about 1960, the system began to disintegrate. Parents realized they had political power over the boards of education and brought pressure to bear on behalf of their children. As often as not, this worked to the detriment of the child, but things declined from there. Groups of parents began trying to influence how the schools should be run, how discipline was to be parceled out, what curriculum could or could not be taught. This was a mixture of good and bad for education. The parents for the most part, had no understanding of the procedures in professional education or the needs of the children or the needs of the schools. The success of their efforts was not a positive one. Dr. Spock came out with the admonition that spanking could scar the child, so we stopped spanking. After Dr. Spock's son committed suicide, Spock recanted, but we did not resume spanking. Then the schools started reacting to this pressure from parents through legislation, excluding parents from the curriculum development. The schools responding to pressure, now, from anti-social agencies like the ACLU gave the students the right to expose themselves in school, dress any way they wanted, no matter how disruptive it was. "Freedom of expression," they called it. During my last experience teaching in the public school system, the students felt imposed upon if they were not permitted to listen to their CD players during class. Writing assignments came back to me word for word the same. One student had done the assignment and all the others copied his work, word for word, comma for comma, while they listened to their CD players. Now, the organizations who wish to downgrade our education system have gone even farther. They are allowing religion to be taught in the schools, so long as it is not from the Christian or Jewish Heritage of most of the students. Islam is being taught in some places, and soon it will be taught in more. "Give me a child at the age of seven and I will give you _________ at the age of ten." What are they making our children into now? It's certainly not Catholics. Immorality is being taught in many of our schools as well as Islam. That pendulum has swung too far. So, shall we wring our hands and hope for the best, or do something about it? Home schooling is not a bad option although it's impossible for many because in many families both the Father and the Mother have to work. That’s the chilling word from Beirut-based Ed Blanche, who writes in The Middle East magazine that Egyptian-born chemical engineer Midhat Mursi al Sayyid Umar — known as Osama bin Laden’s “sorcerer” — is working in secret laboratories in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal area. The Pakistani military claimed that in January 2006, Mursi was one of several senior al-Qaida figures killed by missiles fired from a CIA Predator at a clandestine gathering in a village near the Afghan border. U.S. intelligence officials were skeptical, and now even the Pakistani intelligence chiefs admit that he’s still alive — with a $5 million U.S. bounty on his head. American officials say that electronic surveillance of known al-Qaida figures recently turned up conversations in which Mursi is spoken about in the present tense, Blanche reports. U.S. officials have also learned that Mursi is working to manufacture cyanide, chlorine and other lethal poisons, and has helped revive the al-Qaida chemical and biological weapons (CBW) program that was disrupted by the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Former CIA analyst Chris Quillen stated earlier this year that Mursi and his associates may have made progress in their hideouts in Pakistan’s tribal region. “I’m not saying the programs are great and ready for an attack tomorrow, but whatever they lost in the 2001 invasion, they’re back at that level at this point,” he said. American officials have warned that al-Qaida is seeking to produce botulism toxin, smallpox, plague, or Ebola. Blanche asserts that the U.S. believes Mursi is training operatives to carry out CBW attacks in Europe. But attacks in the U.S. have been planned previously. A plot to launch an attack with cyanide gas in the New York City subway system was reportedly scheduled for the spring of 2003. The plot was first disclosed in 2006 in a book, “The One Percent Doctrine” by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Ron Suskind, which was excerpted by Time magazine. Obama Unifies the KKK Democrats? Huh? It's not unfair to ridicule people for having a fifteen minute attention span. The Democratic Party who has so pandered to minorities for votes has a record of the most horrendous oppression against minorities of any of the political parties, but to know that, one has to be able to remember beyond the glitz of Hillary's and Obama's charming smiles. Let's look at Slavery. The Democratic Party was the one against freeing the slaves. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. The Democratic Party is still supported by hate groups like FARC, Al Qaida, what's left of the Taliban and last but by no means least, the Ku Klux Klan. Why America's enemies for the last few elections have always lined up with the Democrats is no mystery. In recent decades the agenda espoused by the Democratic Party has been very destructive to American national Security, the American economy and the traditional cultures that prevail here. That is why they have been endorsed by Osama Bin Laden, Hugo Chavez, the president of Iran whose I name I won't even try to spell, FARC in Colombia, Al Qaida leaders, and in the not too distant past, Sadam Hussein. Senator Robert Byrd of West (by God) Virginia makes no bones about using the word "Nigger" on the floor of the Senate without criticism or objection from his fellows, but when Imus made an ethnic remark, it nearly cost him his career. But then of course, Imus is not a Democrat. The Democrats of recent years, especially the ones who hate all people who are not descended from Negroes claim that the Republican Party is the White Man's Party, but one might observe that the Republican legislators and leaders have a far greater mixture of minority members on their staffs than do the DeKKKocrat leaders and legislators. Of course, Obama may turn out to be the exception. He even married a Black woman. The fifteen minute memory span is being heavily relied upon by the Democrats in the current electoral contest. They don't want Americans to remember that the Democrats were the ones who hated abolistionists and wanted to preseve slavery in the south. They don't want Americans to remember that the Democratic Party was the founder of the KU Klux Klan, the terrorist branch of the Democratic Party. They don't want Americans to remember that it was Democrat Lyndon Johnson who made Social Security retirement income subject to the federal income tax. No. They want to pretend to be friends to the elderly; what SCUM! They don't want Amercians to remember that it was Al Gore who broke the tie vote in favor of increasing the portion of Social Security Retirement income that is subject to the federal income tax. Keep that fifteen minute memory span and vote for the Dekkkocrat's token (half) Black, a sop to the Negro Victimization Party. They're hoping people are too foolish to actually listen to what Obama says in his speeches and only think about how nicely he says it. And he does say it nicely. He's a charming individual, but it's hard to not hear what the people closest to him are saying. His wife hates everybody who isn't at least partially Negro. His long time pastor and mentor Jeremiah Wright is a caricature, a cartoon character lampooning the worst of the ghetto, victimization mentality. His mother was an early hippy protesting everything in her life and culture, first by refusing to date or associate with people of her own race. Both her husbands were of a different race than she was. Her focus throughout her life was Marxism and Communism. But I'm sure she had no real influence on her son even though he says she was the mainstay of his political decisions and policies. As hard as it is for me to imagine Black people voting for the Ku Klux Klan, I'm starting to believe it's possible. Anyone who wants to make a sensible choice should investigate both sides of the coin before depositing it in the Ballot Box. As they say, "White balls elect. Black balls reject. Be careful with your ballot." +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Presidential End Run Technique United States Presidents have had some lattitude in dealing with foreign powers but lately this had been abused. Clinton and Bush both have used this loophole in the balance of power between the Legislative, Judicial and Executive Branches of our government to create massive changes to our nation, culture, and economy. The pros and cons of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement, are still being debated. The Florida orange growers have been badly hurt by NAFTA as have farmers in California and everywhere else in the USA. CAFTA, the Central American free Trade Agreement is another one that has done much the same. There are many such agreements that have simply been rammed down our throats by freewheeling presidents overstepping their powers. We need to put a stop to this abuse of our freedoms, our economy and our national security. George W. Bush has now announced yet another sweeping change for us, on the authority of his loophole to make agreements that by-pass Congress and the people of the United States. He has kept this quiet while he worked on it for the last eight years. The ramifications of the Security Prosperity Partnership are vast. There will be a a new currency. You can kiss the United States Dollar goodby. This explains why Bush has failed to enforce border laws. Soon there will be no borders. Canada, the U.S.A. and Mexico will be all one country. What happens to the Bill of Rights in all this? What happens to the right to bear arms, the freedom of speech? Canada and Mexico both limit fire arms ownership and freedom of speech. George Bush, it would appear, is selling the farm. He carefully sidesteps questions from the media, whitewashing and glossing objections to this, as yet, little known agreement he is foisting on the American People. We need to stop this. We need to have Presidential Agreements that will affect American Industry and agriculture approved by Congress before they can proceed. At the present time, "Treaties" must be approved by congress, but to sidestep that little problem, Clinton and Bush both simply changed the word. "Oh, this isn't a treaty. It's an agreement." The Chigger is initiating a petition to force this president and future presidents to get the approval of Congress before signing foreign agreements of this type. The petition includes the negation of Presidential Agreements of the last tweny years that have not been approved by Congress, pending that approval. Do the search... ++++++++++++++++++++ Okay, what do we mean by "line drawing?" A fourteen year old girl goes on a date. Does she hold hands? Does she engage in heavy petting? Does she have sex? Where does she draw the line? Everyone does line drawing. I drive an automobile and I routinely speed. I feel it's a moral imperative, a sort of civil disobedience that appeals to me, so I speed. In a 55 mph zone, I'll do 58. If it's 45, I'll do 48 or 49, unless of course, there's some actual safety reason to not do so. This trifling difference between legal and actual goes unnoticed by the constabulary, but it means something to me. I'm not sure what, but I draw the line at 5 mph over for the most part. Everyone does line drawing whether its how big a lie to tell one's spouse, the truth about Santa Claus, our real feelings about the existance of a Supreme Being. It's line drawing. I called a friend of mine who lives in Southern Californicatia and asked if he forwarded the Filthydelphia Petition. He said "no. Jesus taught forgiveness." Well folks, Jesus also taught standing up for one's principles. In the temple he overthrew the money changers tables because he believed that what they were doing was an atrocity and an afront to the sanctity of the Temple. He stood up for what he believed and even performed on the borders of violence to do so. He didn't wring his hands in confusion about what the right thing was to do. He stood up for his faith and convictions. He drew the line and defended it. Ignoring the evil around us in the name of tolerance is foolishness. If enough people don't overthrow the money changers' tables, the money changers will overrun Jerusalem. If people don't stand against the evils perpetrated against others, like the Boy Scouts who have drawn their own lines about morality, the minions of the immoral will overrun us. They are doing so because good people are doing nothing to stop them. This is called persmissiveness. Our permissive, American Society has permissived itself almost to oblivion. There comes a time to draw the line on "Tolerance." Beyond that line is permissiveness. Permissiveness displays fourteen year old girls walking down the street with their pants so low I can almost see their pubic hair. That is the fault of a permissive parent who has failed to communicate the danger that girl puts herself into by such displays. That parent thinks he or she is being "Tolerant." Permissiveness gives CD players to students in high school English classes then has the cheek to muse about why their kids graduate from high school unable to read. Draw some lines. The hype about the declining polar bear population has some people laughing. The obvious political agenda of declaring our air too dirty for Polar Bears has some serious advocates, the USGS is one . The Business and Media Institute says, " But neither Lunn nor Pelley put the numbers in any context. They didn’t mention that the total polar bear population was estimated at 5,000 in the 1970s; it is closer to 25,000 today. And they didn’t mention studies showing that while the Western Hudson Bay population is seeing some decline, other polar bear populations are stable or even increasing in size." If the Polar Bear is placed on the endangered species list because of air polution it could result in much stiffer regulations driving the cost of energy even higher. This seems compatible with the agenda of the Nancy Pelosi crowd as evidenced by their continuous efforts to drive up the price of gasoline and other energy sources. The new powers government would have over industry with the Polar Bear endangered is frightening.
